Prior to this year they've only had two voted starters, Sheffield at 3b in 1993 of course that was after he started the year with the Padres, and Hanley three straight starts 2008-10, Stanton started at DH last year but wasn't voted in because well the DH isn't a position the NL votes on.

July 6, 201511 yr I wonder if Hech or Ramos have a shot at making the team. Ramos probably has a better chance. My guess is neither one gets picked. Hech would've been deserving in the American League. It impressed me how much the SS's in the AL have sucked this year.

Limited usage but he could be a deadly arm for Bochy to have at his disposal.
