Buyers interested, Loria says no

I didn't like the way they looked at the end either.  I want the previous look when it had Florida with a Marlin on the F for the road jersey and the vests!

The 97 vests were awesome

They are unique, just because one is unique doesn't mean the other isn't unique as well.

True, I never said the old look wasn't unique but I was more responding to mk613 whose wording implied the Marlins look needed to be made more unique. If anything it would need to be made less unique. But I know I'm just assuming what he meant. No biggie.

I've had like 4 years to get used to the new uniforms. and I have. but they still suck dick compared to the Florida Marlins uniforms. even the black ones.

Please no, not the vests.

Honestly, for me personally the teal was great in the beginning, it was part of the novelty. But it was time to move on from that, and be a real baseball team. It wasn't time to move on to this crap (Loria's vision, lol), but something just plain good. It doesn't have to be odd just to say we're different (the teal/the current ones). Just make a good uniform.

LMAO!! This is true.

Someone asked for a teacher?

Anyways, as good as the vests looked, vests are a tradition kinda passed their time. Not sure any team would look so great with vests these days. Maybe further in the future but not now.

Teal is a fine color but it probably works best as an accent or a secondary color as opposed to dominating the uniform as it did in 1993.

Lastly, someone above said the Marlins need a more traditional look. What they started with and what they have now are definitely not traditional besides a few elements. The most traditional the Marlins have ever looked was the relatively bland black and white dominated look of around 2006-2011.
