Admin
I see it taking Urias, Pederson, and three good but lower end prospects like Holmes, Peraza, and Lee to get this thing done. Marlins won't do it without Seager being involved and will not settle because they are not trying to trade Jose.
Erick
Urias/Seager need to be involved imo.
Admin
Urias/Seager need to be involved imo. You are correct. There is no bargaining going on, fish are 100% happy taking Jose into Opening Day. They made their request known, LA can match it or walk away
pollythewog
Urias/Seager need to be involved imo. i would be absolutely livid even if it was just those two

Das Texan
I said the Dodgers specifically because they have the best of both worlds. A creative front office and, most importantly, a shitload of money. As Das said, the people saying the Dodgers would be foolish to give this up for Jose are being kinda dumb. The Dodgers are always in win-now mode and Jose is a generational talent. Once they lose this set of prospects, they'll just reload by signing the Dominican Republic. well they already did. look at the number of prospects they signed in the international free agency period. they are so far over their allowed amount its not even funny. money means nothing to them. The Dodgers just doing what the Dodgers do now that money truly means nothing to them. That and they are desperate to win due to spending so much money. Erick
i would be absolutely livid even if it was just those two Ideally, I'd want all three, but if we're only allowed two, it needs to be Urias/Seager rather than Urias/Joc imo.
pollythewog
It won't be just those two but they are requirements of the package. absolutely and I understand that Seager/Urias is an overpay as it is. However, I'd still be livid if it was just those just cause i luf jose

Erick
absolutely and I understand that Seager/Urias is an overpay as it is. However, I'd still be livid if it was just those just cause i luf jose It's not an overpay. There really is no overpay for Jose Fernandez. Especially after what the DBacks just did to get Shelby Miller.
Erick
Fish won't settle... it'll be Seager, Urias, and more or it won't happen. I agree. It would definitely be 5-6 players in return. Just saying, if we're only allowed 2 of Urias/Seager/Joc, I hope the two they prioritize are Urias and Seager. Those are the two main pieces. SilverBullet
Puig is a deal breaker in the opposite sense. If he's in then fuck no. Don doesn't want him and the Marlins are actually trying to maintain a positive clubhouse atmosphere. That idiot would ruin everything.
