Capps undergoing Tommy John

I think Koehler should be moved to the back of the pen right now

I agree that TK would be solid in a short relief role, he's shown the ability. We really needed to sign another SP so this would be more possible.

What the hell in this world that the Yankees need THREE closers in their roster !? maybe a 30-game suspension would led to them willing to part with Chapman, but what could we offering them ? I think it was just a FOND DREAM after we lost Capps.

Who's available that would be on upgrade over what we have right now?  We can make a trade but we have very little to offer so that isn't a great option either.

That's what I said before, signed Timmy and moved Tommy to the pen.

By all indications Edwin Jackson would be much better suited for that.

those 30 innings were't just unreal, they were the best 30 inning stretch ever pitched or something like that (fangraphs did a thing on it)

This offseason....for the birds.

Which relievers are out there that the Marlins can trade for? Also what level are we seeking? Are we looking for someone that can potentially close or more of a Bryan Morris type middle reliever.

More of a middle reliever type and I wouldn't get too excited. Not many names out there at this second that would be great. The hope is that more names become available before April.

bet they sign David Robertson

My assumption is they'll just get a middle reliever who is, at the least, a competent major leaguer to just take the roster spot but not a questionable guy who might not make the team. Then Morris, Dunn, Barraclough, all move up an inning as far roles. Then if any actual impact relievers become available we'll look at them later.
