Say what you want about the bullpen, but offense continues to disappoint. A lot of teams struggle out of the pen when the best guys aren't available. Getting shutout by Jeff Locke and being held to 3 runs by Juan Nicasio and the gang isn't going to get it done. They were lucky to score their runs last night too, and Jonathon Niese isn't exactly a world beater. 

 

 

In all fairness though. We have to try to win the game. And if that means having to use Ramos or phelps then you have to. 

 

 

I love walk offs. I end up watching the replays like 20 times.

 

 

I think it's pretty ridiculous that Phelps wasn't available to be honest. 

 

He threw 13 pitches on Tuesday, then 14 pitches last night. Before his outing on Tuesday (5/31), he hadn't pitched since 5/27. If he's not available tonight, that basically means he's never capable of pitching more than two days in a row. 

 

 

Reall hope wittgren does well and supplants bearclaw immediately
