My father has always spelled tomorrow as tomarrow for his entire life and I have no idea why, he never seems to spell anything else incorrectly and he's worked with computers for most of his years so you'd think he'd have picked up on the typo by now but nope.

My dad's got two of these things. He's lived in this country since about 7 or 8 years old and has picked up almost everything of the English language but always says two things that just irk me... instead of "I don't know" he says "I not even know" and the winning one is instead of Chocolate Chip he says Chocolate Chips so when he says Chocolate Chip Cookies he says Chocolate ChipS Cookies and it drives me crazy. One day I realized he's actually right because the cookies have multiple chips in each cookie so it's technically right to say the word chips in the plural form but man it makes me cringe every time I hear chocolate chips cookies. Also, my mom has never been able to spell salad, she spells it salid, which, in a way, actually makes more sense than salad. Both examples kinda just prove how messed up the English language is.
