Jose Fernandez: From Price to Pumpkin.

Also, the Diamondbacks forgot the piping on the upper half of their pants.

Fault is where fault is due....this one is on Jose. Couldn't keep composure together. Shame too. Marlins were only 1 run away from me truly hating Dunn, 2 from a tie, and 3 from an awesome comeback.

Dumb fucking shit from everyone

That was brutal. After Gillespie just missed that home run I thought it was over then I got home to fine 1st and 2nd 0 out and by the time i sit down Yelich hits into a double play.

I thought we were setting up great after last night and Jose going tonight.

It goes to show that on the days Jose happens to be off in this case today, the rest of the rotation needs to pick it up.

Wow. We were 0-11 with RISP and had 10 left on base.

Jose was perfect until Michael Bourn (black) hit a HR.

1st and 2nd second one out in 7th...first and third two outs in 8th...first and second no outs in 9th...come on now.

yelich made me sad today. Took some heat off of Stanton not doing good again.

Yeah.  No patience or waiting for a good pitch to hit ... just go up and swing at shit

Fire Bonds (black)?

Really frustrating that a hitter like Yelich and with his speed hits so many ground balls and double plays.

Just too many games given away this season. Everyone has brutal losses but when you come back big like last night, with Jose on the mound, you have to take advantage and convert on chances.

Even after Jose fell apart we had 2 men on in the 7th, 8th, and 9th.

HE HAD A PERFECT GAME THROUGH 5.2 INNINGS. HE WAS NOT OFF.

He did however fall off the wagon quickly. But to say he was "off" today is just completely false.

This team won't reach its max potential until Stanton starts hitting. Whenever that is. Everything bad that is happening is Stanton's fault. Everyone else is doing just fine.

Just look at the 3 losses on this road trip. Makes you want to scalp yourself.

Yelich was on a 10 game hit streak. What kind of "heat" should there be? I don't even care if we struck out 5 times today blaming guys like Yelich is dumb.

That's pretty much how I feel. I don't expect more from anybody else in the lineup (I'd love Hech to play better, but this is basically who he is), and the bullpen is what it is along with the rotation.

The only other player who deserves criticism on par with Stanton is Chen. He really hasn't been worth the investment we gave him thus far. He needs to be a #2 pitcher and he's performed like a #4.

Even cyggy (I think) said yelich was kind of pissing me him off. So how come he isn't labeled?

Didn't see it. He also doesn't troll as much and you brought up Yelich by name so I noticed your post easier. The point stands to whoever said it.

Chen hasn't been amazing but his ERA is much higher because of all the inherited runners that have scored. His fastball has also been down. It should be 91-93 and top at 94 but has been 89-91 topping at 92 pretty much.

Yeah, I posted it.  Normally, Yelich is the guy you want up there in a big AB situation, but lately he seems to be getting more bad ABs than good ones.  Swinging at bad pitches and hitting into DPs, ground outs, etc. instead of driving the ball with his swing.

To sum up today's game, I think the right way to describe it was as follows.

Stanton sucks, Yelich's GDP is way too high, and Jose lost control of his emotions.

How do you know about his Gross Domestic Product?

Only 2 runs off Zack Godley is why we lost this one

Lmao thought the same thing when I read this. Some guys on here are unreal

GIDP* and he's hitting over .300 with over a 900 ops and a gold glover. You're complaining about an all star who puts the ball in play constantly, and is one of the best guys in the world at pitch recognition and patience at the plate. Also, you're guessing with Jose losing his emotions. He made a few bad pitches late in the game and the Dbacks were ready. It's easy/lazy to say he lost his emotions and not realize he made some mistakes.
