I wouldn't like it, but I'd accept a 4-5 road trip [that'd be 4-3 from this point]. That guarantees us at over .500 going into the all-star break which we haven't had in a long time.

 

What I'd like, going into the all-star break [10 games left, three at home against Cincinnati] is to win at least 6 of those. 47-41 going into the break would be great. 51-37 would be amazing but this team has never won 10 straight, so ...

just putting this out there in the midst of your comment, I certainly out of the teams we've played so far this year, DO NOT want to see Detroit again this year. it is not far fetched to think we can meet them in the world series this year and this is not something that is desirable. playing Detroit may actually loosen the team up vs Atlanta. but who knows.

While I don't think the Marlins are a playoff team with their lack of pitching and depth, just enjoy the fact they are still in contention at the end of June.  Expect the worst...hope for the best.

Ozuna and Prado won't be traded, guaranteed. Not saying any of the others will be but I am 100% sure Prado and Ozuna go nowhere.

 

 

FWIW Detroit's line up is scary to face. Just Kinsler, Cabrera, Martinez and Castellanos are enough. Doesn't help that Salty has also hit us well in the 2 games he faced us lol. I am glad to not be facing them anymore.

Vince being an All-Star. It's pretty far-fetched to believe that the Marlins will be in the WS, pretty much impossible for them to face Detroit there.  Odds probably 1-2000 that this happens.
