If you come in and it isn't a save situation, it won't be one unless you get it within three runs, or within 5 and tying run on deck, I think is the rule. Someone else would have had to come in after AJ allowed the two runs for it to then be a save situation.

July 4, 20168 yr I know this won't be a popular opinion but I still get queasy watching Ramos pitch. His command issues freak me out. I think he's been extremely lucky with many of the saves that have literally, after walking and hitting guys, been pulled out of his ass. My fear is that things will now start evening out and the blown saves will now start coming in multiples. Just wonder how long it will take and how much of a price the team will pay before Rodney is given the 9th.

That crew ESPN put on there was worse than listening to Preston. Also, one of the WORST called games I've seen in awhile. Finally, those uniforms were atrocious - absolutely butt ugly and the hats were even worse. I'll gladly take the win but ugh that was a painful game to watch and listen to.

Jessica Mendoza is pretty lousy, but unlike Preston and Eduardo, she knows when to shut up. Aaron Boone does much more talking and he's not as bad as she is.

On a side note I won a couple more auctions today and now own Phelp's Father's Day jersey and first base from the 8 HR game against Colorado. I actually loved the Father's Day ones but even the ugly camo ones were better than that.
