Yep. Also signs you up for a raffle thing since I somehow won an $80 jersey the last game I went to and signed the designated driving pledge for the free drink.

 

 

Plastic flasks most definitely work for liquor.

 

But sneaking beer (any significant amount) into the ball park is laughable.  Unless you're drinking piss warm beer.

I'm with DTrain, the hassle for the two bottles of beer that you'll be able to get in, if that, is not worth it.

 

 

I'm not sure how sticking 2 bottles at the bottom of a purse or in your waistline is more of a hassle than paying $20+ at the ballpark. 

I choose not to pay those $20+ bucks so for me it's no hassle because I do neither. I love beer but at those prices I don't need them at the game.

why not charge a reasonable price for a beer when your franchise is in the bottom tier of attendance? It's cheaper to drink at Citi field which is stupid. Can't wait for Cleveland. Finally a real park with real fans with reasonable prices and no Mike Hill

I gotta admit I love being able to take the whole family to Suns games and spend like 50 bucks including food and beer.  Granted there's not a lot of top prospects these days but still baseball.     Thursday nights $2 24-ounce beers. 

 

 

I've been thinking about disguising a 6th barrel keg as an oxygen tank and bringing it into the game. I have problems tho. Clearly.

Yea the beer prices are unreasonable, although I've heard some teams have them even higher than ours so it's not like it's a Marlins problem only. I do blame Cashner for it though. Anyways, yeah I don't get why they can't at least be a reasonable price. At $9-12 it makes me not wanna buy even one beer. If they were, say $4-6 I'd consider buying one and would then more than likely buy two. If I'm with a group of friends they'll likely join me and then you've got 8-10 beers purchased right there which we would have never bought at the higher price. If you take that theory and apply it to the entire ballpark I'd imagine $4-6 beers would be more profitable than $9-12 beers. So why hasn't that been done? Maybe I'm wrong though and maybe idiots are buying the $9-12 beers left and right and thus the prices stay up. Whoever is buying 3-4 beers every time they go to the ballpark is screwing it up for the rest of us. Thanks a lot Cashner.
