May 14, 20179 yr ok this question for all of your can any thing be fix ? or we need wait for dl player get back??? It would certainly help if they were all back. It's not good that it's the 3rd best SS playing now or that Gordon had to play the position because even the 3rd best couldn't play. But personally I think we lack starting pitchers; we have no ace or maybe even a #2. And now we are bringing up players who have NOT played in the major/minor league games for at least a year or more who are either playing a position OR pitch hitting. We don't have any depth and I'm not certain if all our starting lineup would be playing a position other than the bench if they weren't playing for the Marlins. So my take is we probably be winning more games but go to the postseason????? No.

May 14, 20179 yr I'm sure they feel hopeless. And their depression is just spiraling deeper. Probably trying too hard. Yes I'm sure you're right. That's where things get deeper out of control. Some guys try to hard and some guys just shrug and say oh well that's the way it is right now and quit on each other or themselves. When that attitude starts to seep into clubhouse it has a flu like affect and goes through out and takes something and someone or someone's special to buck that feeling and turn things around. It's obvious that Atlanta is in the whole teams heads.Especially here in Miami. Another member on here made a excellent point yesterday I believe. His point was, gotta wonder how much Jose's energy and attitude helped during times like these over the years. Now I just don't know if there's anyone on team that has that infectious positive attitude that can also provide a diversion all at the same time that he had. Part of what made him special. Also this is first rough prolonged stretch without him. Just gotta wonder is all I'm saying. They all do look lost that is for sure. Lots of emptiness in the players faces,eyes,body language. Like Mattingly said post game. Don't like what's going on? Change it and don't accept this stuff anymore. Hopefully tomorrow they come out pissed off and get going in all phases.Win for their Moms at least and start a winning streak.

The roof being open could effect players like Bour and Ozuna and Heath Bell who need proper environmental regulation or they could overheat and malfunction.
May 14, 20179 yr I disagree with the idea that the team is depressed and playing down. They dealt with losing their favorite teammate in a tragedy last season, they can deal with being in last place. I'm sure they're not jumping for joy at the run they're having but that doesn't mean they're moping around the clubhouse. They're grown ass men who've been through worse. I'm sure they're still playing hard and eventually they'll get these games to turn back in their favor.
