Rydawg
I've read that its better than the returns for Stanton and Gordon. Not saying much though. Let's pray for the best.

fish20
Alcantara is confirmed to be one of the guys we get in the deal. Clark spencer says a scout says he is a year away and projects as a number 2 starter.
CYmarlins
They are also sending five Cardinal fans to attend all Marlin home games. They will sit behind home plate to give the appearance on TV that there are fans at the game. lmaoo!!!
SongInTheAir
Alcantara will be the centerpiece. That likely means no Flaherty and then one of Grichuk or Piscotty.
THRILLHO
Alcantara will be the centerpiece. That likely means no Flaherty and then one of Grichuk or Piscotty. He's the centerpiece according to twitter reaction. I can't imagine Alcantara is the main piece. We need to have Flaherty in this deal. fish20
lol Alcantara ceiling is high end RP...if he's really the centerpiece no. no its not. that's more likely his floor. His ceiling is #2 pitcher. clarkspencerVerified account @clarkspencer 11m11 minutes ago More clarkspencer Retweeted Jon Heyman Scout says Alcantara has "big arm," about a year away, projects as No. 2 starter. SongInTheAir
where are your sources bae? I don't have any, I'm just guessing. A lot like Craig Mish.
pollythewog
Alcantara has ONE good pitch and one okay pitch (change). you don't just magically develop other + pitches and control which is what it'd take to be a #
Erick
i disagree I mean, that’s unfair. He probably has a low floor but his ceiling is he figures out how to throw strikes and becomes a good starter. He’s still young. My brother saw him in the AFL and says he has great stuff for what it’s worth.

Erick
I've followed him he has a terrific fastball and avg to below avg change and terrible everything else I do hope he’s not the best prospect in the deal. Just saying, most in the industry don’t agree that that’s his ceiling.
poptart
that implies Alacantra is definitely the best player coming back. 16.5 of WAR traded so far, and the best return is an AA pitcher who, knowing Mike Hill trades, will fail as a starter and end up in the bullpen
