Featured Replies

is that batavia manager mike jacobs the mike jacobs i think it is?

Edit- Yes it is.  Wow.  That came full circle.  That guy could crush a ball whenever he made contact with it.

Yes and the Todd Pratt is the Todd Pratt you'd know as well.

haha didnt even notice him there.  Is Brian Schneider still a part of the major league staff?

oh cool.  didnt know that.

Im looking at Mike Jacobs fangraphs, and I was much younger when he was around, but I didnt realize just how bad he was defensively.  Guy hit 32 HR's and had a .813 OPS in 2008 and still had a -1.0 WAR.

Randy Ready I think had a few good seasons with the Phillies (late 80's / early 90's) usually hit around .300, Storm Davis pitched for the O's  and the late 80's Oakland A's dynasty

Storm Davis

he's the only one I can think when a trivia come up about MLB players weather related names

Nice to see former Marlin Tommy Gregg among the coaches, also trying to find out if the Ronnie Richardson coach in Batavia is the same one my brother used to coach in high school and played a couple of years of minor league ball
