August 1, 20188 yr Author When I think about the return for Maybin and Ziegler I just keep reminding myself that the return was for Maybin and Ziegler. Feels like getting any value for them is a great move. And kudos to both guys for playing better the last two months which put them in a position to move up to better teams and for us to most likely improve our returns as compared to if they both had been playing like crap. Win win all around.

August 2, 20188 yr Author Bottom line is that Hill was often told to do the moves by Loria who acted like the puppeteer and Hill just seemed like the guy making the GM decisions so it was tough to tell what was really his bad decisions or just Loria decisions. Hill still has Jeter and Sherman above him now but they don't seem as meddling as Loria was and that might make a significant difference.
