Bostick, 25, Righty, a pre-arb Eligible player (still didn't achieve 1-year service time)

44th draftee of Oakland A's in 2011

Career minor stats were .271/.337/.416 thru 3500 PA.

Can played at all OF (mostly LF) and 2B.

I think he looked like Donovan Solano OF version. Only for defense enforcement at the end of game.

I forgot that Donovan Solano existed.

Yeah people need to understand this is an organizational depth move, not a big-time acquisition expected to lead them to the WS.

"People need to understand" sounds negative

"Organizational depth move" sounds positive

"Not a big-time acquisition" sounds negative

"Expected to lead them to the WS" is too optimistic.

12 second ban starting now.

This is a World Series type move, right?

This is way too optimistic, even more-so than SonOfJack's post.

Being the fair, arbitrary judge that I am, IE the Roger Goodell of this forum [hate me, bitches], I've decided your punishment shall be ...

You must make one positive post within the next five years, any time of your choosing.

Hey, I'm just encouraged that were letting cash go out in deals now, rather than every deal requiring cash coming back to us with Loria.  That to me says that we aren't nearly as "paycheck-to-paycheck" (if you will) as we've been (mis)managed in the past.

We're a ways from competing, but the approach of these trades is completely different - that makes me happy.
