I always park at that little tan colored plaza across from the laundromat for $10.  It always has spots, is an actual lot (not someone's "no blocky blocky" driveway), and the guy stays there the whole game.  The only time I'll park in the garage now is the rare occasion they have a discount garage ticket or maybe if it's raining (I've also thought they should have built some sort of cover from the garages to the stadium).

 

So....either way you're spending $50.  Though that way it may be on stuff you'd buy anyway, not parking.

Derek Deitrich being traded

 

Chen pitching in high leverage situations

 

Hererra starting in LF Opening Day

 

$20 parking garage parking for a team in a rebuild

 

And on and on.  Little things matter both off the field and on.

I think it stays about the same, with maybe a slight bump because of the "Jeter affect" (new ownership).

I see people saying letting Dietrich go didn't change attendance. I think everyone agrees attendance dropped last year (though not as significantly as some think) after those trades of Stanton, Yelich, Ozuna. That being said, it also sucked with them.

As I believe @SonOfJack has pointed out MULTIPLE times, Stanton was chasing 60 homers and people still weren't really showing up, so, no, I don't think the attendance would have changed much. Maybe a tiny increase at most.

Don't you see. Last year we averaged 10 k fans. This year it has been around 6 k fans per game after Opening Day. Those 4 k fans we lost since last year were all Dietrich and Straily fans.

Dietrich hit two home runs yesterday.  I still can't believe we let him go for nothing in return.  Whether or not Marlins fans would "come out to the ballpark" just because of Dietrich (I doubt it), he was a fan favorite and should have had some value to the franchise.
