Even if the rain stops by game time, the field is going to be a mess.

You don't think they'll cover it with a tarp in preparation?

Still have no the new 30-man roster announcing eight hours before the start of the game.

They've got it settled, don't worry.

Gotta cut it down to 28 on Thursday anyways.

Got proof?

This immediately made me think of when I was at opening day 2015 (How in the world has it been that long already??) with my dad and it rained when they had the roof open.  Such a Marlins thing to happen.  The annoying thing was it was one of those 10 minute long showers so by the time they had the roof closed, it had stopped and was an otherwise beautiful evening.

The tarp isn’t big enough to cover the entire field. I hope they do play of course, just being cautiously optimistic.

This isn't the first time an MLB ballpark has been rained on.

Lol it’s a hurricane though. I thought I saw they are expected to get like 4-6 inches of rain.

We should be fine.  Marlins live in water.

Well it looks like Isaias seriously picked up some speed and is well north of Baltimore now. Hopefully the outer bands cooperate.

Didn't you hear? he opted out a few days ago.

Definitely better update there.

Wonder what the hold-up was. Four straight days of negatives. Must have been using one of those quick tests that they weren't trusting before!

a couple tests came back inconclusive so they had to re-run those players.  all came back negative.  Play Ball.

Ah, I guess that clears things up then.
