We heard a lot about not wanting to trade in division for Realmuto too. They were just wowed enough to pull that trigger. It worked out anyway. Even with the 2 years of control, the Phils have yet to put up a winning season. He could have signed as a free agent this year with Philadelphia and they would still have Sixto. Plus Sixto was an integral part of the playoff run for the Marlins last year, which I am like 70% sure was in fact real, and not a dream I had. Edited July 28, 20215 yr by FishFan95

To be fair we weren't contending back then, we're supposedly contending or close to it now, Duvall can hurt us in the immediate future, Realmuto wasn't gonna be a problem for us at the time plus he was gonna be a free agent by the time we were gonna be good.
