The Marlins will send Cody Poteet to the mound to start a bullpen game, while the Nationals will send Joan Adon and his 7.03 ERA up there for what the Marlins hope will also be a bullpen game.

I will not claim a bullpen game if Cody gets through four innings.

Soler is literally sitting so that Erik Gonzalez can start his second game in a row. Erik Gonzalez has taken 869 MLB plate appearances and has only reached base 235 times.

One of the best players in baseball history. He was batting .392 in 24 Triple-A games this season, which is clearly more important than the .275 on base percentage he's put up in 341 MLB games throughout his career. 30 year old journeyman utility infielder that should never start a game for a team that plans to win is now starting his second game in a row because of Donald Arthur.
