June 29, 20224 yr So, serious question. Why all the hate on Dembo? I'M genuinely curiuous. Our Farm system is in very good shape. Didn't he have something to do with that? I'm not defending him and I'm glad he's gone because he's a Jeter guy. I just don't know what he is being blamed for.

The scapegoat. I really don't buy the narrative that he was calling the shots. Makes zero sense to me that Sherman would put Jeter's guy at the top while acting like Kim Ng was making the calls. I know Kim was a handpick from Jeter too, but he seemed professionally and personally closer with Denbo. I'd maybe buy that Denbo had more input in 2021 with Jeter there as well. I do not buy he was making the calls this year. Not for a second. But people for whatever reason, want to believe she was just standing around taking orders from Denbo. I also once again remind everyone that Denbo was here before Kim Ng and the odd roster decisions weren't happening. Not until she was hired.
