Besides the fact that Chapman is a shitty person, he also quit on his team in October this past postseason. And prior to that, it isn't like his performance was good either.

I have no idea why the fish would have interest, if they really do.

I don't want Chapman but the way we're going I'm afraid he'd actually improve our bullpen because we have added nothing else. I'd rather not have him but if opening day comes and we've added no one else to the pen I'm gonna be like damn wish we had Chapman.

I just said it. We need to add someone to the pen, if we don't add anyone I'm gonna be thinking maybe he's worth a shot. I'm not saying he's good, I'm saying I'm gonna wonder if he might have helped. 

I'm not convinced we get him anyways. Like last year we probably do a small trade in March to add a couple extra arms.

Maybe I'm imagining it but his performance notably dipped and hasn't recovered since they started really cracking down on checking the pitchers for sticky stuff.

Signing him to even a 1yr deal at 10mil would be such a Marlins thing to do too i.e. wasting money that should have been allocated to say, Longoria on a one year deal. See also: signing Avi instead of Marte for the same money.

And then he quit on the Yankees in the playoffs. May not have made the playoff roster anyway since he sucked but didn't even show up.
