Except Reynolds isn't locked in longterm, Yelich had already signed his extension here, Reynolds has not, which is why he wants out of Pittsburgh. 

Pirates aren't forced to trade him, I think they will but it's their call. With Yelich the Marlins were rushing to trade him, doesn't seem like the Pirates are as desperate to do so which is why this has taken a while. 

As for the 120 million for Reynolds, Sherman could definitely afford it, I would think that's the type of deal Sherman would pay but never know with him. 

Marlins really almost has Cespedes. Oakland swooped in at the last moment.

I do believe they did try to sign all 3 of those guys, but didn't offer enough.....as always lol.

My point is it's not lolmuts if even Steve "IDGAF" Cohen has concerns about it.

The whole reason he swooped in was because he has the money to not even care if Correa has a medical concern but now he's like "ok wait a minute"? Must be something to make Steve Cohen have doubts about spending.
