This is 100% him. There may have been reasons why he didn't get the Major League opportunity right away but everything after that is him.

Neither did the other 29 teams around the league, which was why he had to settle for a minor-league deal with the Marlins a few weeks before the season started.

The guy didn't even play in AAA.  But we're supposed to automatically put him on the ML roster?
