I'm glad Avi is not in the lineup.  That's always a plus.  I am puzzled as to why  DLC is hitting 3rd. That makes no sense to me.  He's not a top of the order bat.  

Also, why the fuck is 33 year old Burch Smith and his career 6+ ERA in our bullpen?  WTF is that about?

I think that it’s because of the Pirates RHP starter is why Avi on the bench today. And why the lineup is loaded with left handed batters like Gordon, Jazz, Sanchez etc. I’m guessing when the Marlins are seeing LHP starters we will definitely see Avi out there.
