    RIP Wendy's

Wendy's was probably last on my campus eating list. I'd take Jimmy John's, W.G. Grinder's, Penn Station, Charlie's, King's, Taco Ninja>Wendy's I think I might even like McDondald's dollar menu more than Wendy's.

    RIP Wendy's

Spicy Chicken is the bomb, you froot.
  3. I saw it a couple of months ago. Definatly the second best comedy of 2006 behind Clerks II. Which makes it third or fourth. Borat. Little Miss Sunshine. I'd place both of those before Clerks II.
  4. He should have left Florida in a Popemobile, driving 5 mph and waving goodbye to throngs of supporters on his way to his new job. That would have been more appropriate, I think. 2) It's Nick Saban. I don't think I've seen anyone in the world of college/professional sports in the non-JD Drew category elicit such a feeling of betrayal and relief in a fanbase. I speak for myself here, but I'm pretty sure the majority of Dolphin fans think that Saban's a piece of sh*t who left the Dolphins in a worse state than he found them (and that's saying something) and will really be better off with him gone. If true, then why all the bitterness? Shoot, when the Blue Jackets fired Galant I did cartwheels. Galant was a failure. Almost as much of a failure as Saban. Moreso.

  6. Enjoy retirement, coach - we'll miss you. No we won't. Heh, Cowher was the 28th, 28TH!!!!, highest paid coach in pro football. and the Steelers wouldn't give him a contract extension after the Super Bowl. Talk about cheap. *runs*
  7. What I want to know is, where was all this "we have no chance to win against LSU" defeatist talk BEFORE the bowl game? Sad.
  8. name and tradition is all they have, but at least they aren't totally delusional like some schools...ie alabama. Nah, they're delusional. They honestly think they deserve to be in the national title picture every year. But, they suck, so they're not.
  9. The more I see the previews this movie looks like Running Man meets Snatch.
  10. People only continue to pay attention to this guy for comic relief....I hope. He's got his "base." Luckily they're only a VERY vocal minority.
  11. Cowher in Miami would be interesting. Would never happen. Not this season. I think he takes at least one season off.
  12. Man, if God is so benevolent why the f*** is he talking to Pat Robertson? Why not talk to someone who UNDERSTANDS English and is capable of knowing exactly when and where so they can prevent it? All Pat Robertson is doing with the info is making people scared. Doesn't make much sense, really, God can give Pat Robertson all this knowledge but it comes in like an unclear radio signal? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
  13. I look at it like this. You have an NFL owner that is actually patient. He will wait and work with folks to win, look at Dave he put up with him when many were wanting him gone. Heck it is rumored he offered an extension to nick supposedly. Rarely in the NFL do you find owners like Wayne is. You have an owner that offers up money for anything you want. 5000 coaches sure, a bubble for in the rain for a weeks worth of practice, sure what is a few million? Money for anyone you want out there plain and simple. He is spending 250 million more for everything else as well It is also miami, a great place to live. Really it isnt a hard job to sell with alot of tradition behind it and all Miami will get a good coach I doubt Alabama is any less a great place to live. Ever been to alabama? I went there to check out the college and all. It is a nice school but really not close to as fun an area as south florida is or weather. But he might like a different lifestyle. I do think if he leaves he will be branded as a failure in the NFL It's all in where you live. I have these New York a**holes for bosses and coworkers and they always talk about how there isn't sh*t to do in Columbus. But, then again, typically they go home and watch their tv sets, dvd players, etc. Which doesn't make any sense if you're bitching about not having stuff to do. It's all in where you're from and what you're used to.
  14. I doubt Alabama is any less a great place to live. Did you seriously just claim Alabama is just as good a place to live as South Florida. He's a freakin' Coach. I doubt he's into the model scene or going to clubs. Saban does strike me as the type of guy to run around with Paris Hilton on his time off. He's also old enough that titties aren't enough of a draw as to decide where to live.

  16. Has anyone seem the new poll on ESPN.com? "If Florida beats Ohio State, which team should be national champion?" Florida is winning with only 55% of the vote. ESPN is sturring up controversy that doesn't need to exist. ESPN is such a joke now. How is this even up for debate? Boise State plays nobody all year, 90% of their schedule at home, and think they should be the freakin national champs because they stun a good (but not great) Oklahoma team with about half a dozen trick plays in the final few minutes and OT? All this proves, is that anybody with enough heart and determination could beat anybody, and that the mid-majors should not be wholly discounted in football. However, would Boise State have beaten Tenn. on the road, Ark and GA on neutral fields, LSU, Alabama, and South Carolina at home, etc.?? The answer is no. Not only are they not deserving to actually play in the national title game, but they clearly have inferior talent and won the game with what can only be described as great coaching with a dash of a miracle. The Boise State story is a great one, but let's not get carried away. LMAO...your the typical lemming that keeps the BCS Going...let's analyze all the wrong statements you made 1) Boise State has zero losses...Florida 1...doesn't matter who they play.... 2) Boise played 6 home games and 6 road games....Florida played 7 home games and 5 road games including that riveting and necessary home game late in the season against Western Carolina. 3) How can you say Boise couldn't beat any of those SEC teams...You also probably said that they couldn't beat Oklahoma who for some reason you call good but not great. The same Oklahoma team who should have had only one loss winning at Oregon. You can't say any of that because those teams are too scared to schedule Boise State. 4) Inferior Talent eh? There's a lot of players on Boise that some teams could use. Ask Miami if they'd take Zabransky over Kirby Freeman or Kyle Wright...Ask Florida State the same question. People like you feed into the small market and BCS bull and until we change the lemmings like you, we're gonna be sattled with what if's...If Florida wins the title it will be one of the most disputed titles of all time. Not that you guys have a shot at all.... I agree with most of what you say, but not number 1. It does matter who you play. If everyone went by wins and losses regardless of competition, we would see zero good out of conference games. Miami would never play Florida, Ohio State-Texas, Arkansas USC, LSU-Va Tech, Michigan-ND, etc... none of those happen. Teams should get rewarded for playing a tougher schedule even if it means having one loss. Then let's see OSU, Florida and all those schools play Boise.....None of them will... Not for a few years at least. We got USC and Miami on our next round robin of teams. Marshall and some others get their shot, too. Nobody's running from Boise. I don't see Michigan running to sign up on the "Boise punk card" list you've created in your mind. Granted, with Carr coaching Boise might just beat Michigan up.

  18. The Bengals? efforts to put the off-field issues behind them hit a snag on the second day of the offseason when one of the three street free agents they signed was former Iowa State linebacker Jason Berryman. Berryman has served nearly 300 days in jail on assault and theft charges in 2004 assault and was then kicked off the Cyclones after the 2005 season for being cited on the premises of a club underage, which was listed as an alcohol offense. No arrest was made, according to an Iowa newspaper. 2 days after we're eliminated, after the Coach says "quit the sh*t" and how he's going to be a hardass and we sign THIS GUY!? Marvin's lost me. I hope he goes to Pittsburgh now. I'm about to drop my season tickets over this sh*t and get Blue Jackets seasons instead. Pathetic. Same old Bungles.

Question, is this the same story "the warriors" was adapted from? Hell no. Firstly, the Warrior WENT to a gang meeting and then had to defend themselves on the way back to their turf. The Spartans are protecting their turf from invaders.
  20. I don't think once you're a millionaire money should be the issue. I'd take Pete Carroll and Jim Tressel's godhood in their respective programs over the bulls*** you have to put up with in the NFL. Saban at Alabama could reach those heights, potentially.
  21. So basically people want Boise State to play the big programs for their entire non conference schedule. You need two to tango. Most big conference schools want cupcakes for their non conference schedule. They will never get the required non conference games in order to please people. And they would also never get a non conference home game anytime soon neither. Its as much the big schools fault as it is the small schools on this end. Either cupcakes or BCS schools. A good "mid-major" is the nightmare of every BCS school. Not really. OSU has been willing to schedule Texas, USC, Miami (USC next two years, Miami after that) non-conference. One away, then one home in the case of the power houses. I don't think there's "fear" to schedule mid-major schools at all. It makes you look better when you beat good teams. We used to schedule NC State when they were a pretty good upper mid-major, etc., etc. Thing is, Boise State is going to have to be willing to go away. Because no major school is going to be willing to go to Boise's stadium and with good reason. Number one, they don't play at home and lose a lot of revenue and two it doesn't have the lustre of playing another powerhouse. You want to build a program and get some credit then you play schools on the road and you win there.
  22. If there was a playoff system in which 8 teams get in then they should be in there but under the current system where 2 teams play for the championship then the answer is no. When you play in a weak conference you need to play top teams in your non-conference schedule but they don't do that. By now it should be pretty clear that going undefeated with a weak schedule is not enough and it shouldn't be enough. Teams should get credit for playing tough schedules and should be penalized for playing weak ones. I pretty much agree with the above. I'm also not going to debate. There are good arguments on either side and I don't care enough. Plus, it's my opinion so NAHHHH!
  23. If Ohio State wins, hell no. If Florida wins, hell no. Sorry, they're not in the National Title game.
  24. Well at least you managed to get your boyfriend Garrett Wolfe into the conversation....Nice work.....take your small time football and sit in the corner. Line of the year, and we're only in day 1!!!
