Just carried the no1 over from my other screen names on other forums sports teams. Yankees are my fav team, but the fish are my fav NL team except when they play the yanks of course.

Yankees are my favorite team in baseball, but became a fish fan since moving down here in 2000. When they play the Yankees though, gotta go with my Yanks. Today I really don't care since it's spring training, but I'm really excited about seeing the new stadium.

Smart by the Marlins. The exhibition games against the Yankees a couple years ago in the days before the season started got 30,000+ attendance. The ownership is basically squeezing out a couple more gameday revenues. Don't you think they'd get that attendance w/o the Yankees? I certainly do. All this will do is push up the value/demand of the tickets and become a lot harder to get (due to all the Yankee fans wanting to show up). I think they easily could have gotten the attendance playing anyone. Wish they would have had the Yankees come earlier in the spring, though they probably wouldn't (can't remember the last time they made a east coast trip) if the stadium opening wasn't the case.

Wouldnt be surprised if we did another Turn Back the Clock with the Old Miami Marlins Colors, but i dont know about having a full time throwback right off the back. It would surprise me if they did, and I wouldnt mind. That's what a season ticket holder (who's toured the stadium) said when he called into Lebby's show. I guess they were maroon/burgundy and silver color. Anyone have a link to what those looked like? He said they weren't the most flattering, but it sounded like that's what the direction they were going with. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
