Well said! I agree that people shouldnt take these games so seriously. Its the beggining of the season, things are bound to happen. If we win 2-3 games in the series, well be okay. It may be quite frustrating, but dont let it get to you, not all games are important. even though it isnt from this game...i just thought i would entertain all the fish fans with this story...back in 03' i went to the marlins-sox game up here in fenway...i have been a fish fan since the beginning and i loved bringing my best friends to see their favorite team the sox...so we went to the middle game and the fish were down 9-2 goin to the 8th inning when encarnacion hit a 3 run shot to cap a 4 run 8th inning and then lowell's 3 run shot capped a 4 run 9th inning...when lowell was jogging the bases i was the only person in all of fenway park standing, cheering, screaming my lungs out for my team...what a game...best game i ever went to...and i got pushed, spit at, beet spilt on me and so on...and then one truely respectible fan came up to me after the game and told me the marlins are a bunch of fighters...a bunch of fighters who won the whole F****** thing...hell yeah...and then another bunch of fighters won it last year...anyways...just wanted to share that on one night in boston...the marlins were heard loud and clear 750356[/snapback] Just wanted to tell you..love your story.Right on! :thumbup

I don't think any of you realize that Carlos Beltran if he didn't somersault, would've had Cabs out by a mile. And any of you who don't think Beltran has a strong arm, then I guess you don't watch very much baseball. That sucks for the Aces hes their best player 746102[/snapback] So last night was the deciding game between our Aces and those Condors and I am thrilled to say we whipped their asses 6-2!! Over 6,500 at the arena and we managed to stay well behaved but you can not even imagine how pissed we are at such a vicious move on our star player who is such a great guy.He does so much for the city of Anchorage..he did not need to play for the little ECHL but he felt it was the right choice for him.Just hope he heals quickly..poor guy. :confused

I never really watched baseball till October 2003,but as I sat there watching the fish play the Yanks...that was it.I was hooked.Their team chemistry,heart and pure love of the game just drew me in and I have been a Marlins fan ever since. Always will be!

Ok, heres a few thing's that I've noticed. People are freaking out because We either score 9 runs or bust. However, historically we've plain out sucked against Hampton, Livan and Well, Tim Hudson is amazing. So, It's a case of good pitching beats good offense. Livan always kills us. So, i expected to loose this one. Don't freak out. Also, I think we can all agree our bullpen is doing well.
