I'll take Hermida in # 2 spot anyday over Uggla. Remember Hermida of 06' most of the time batted 7th in front of amezega or reggie and the pitcher. He had no protection, I dont think the Joe even tried him once in the 2 spot. Uggla is killing every little rally we can start. When hanley is on Uggla swings at the first pitch either dp, flyout or strike 1 and then he strikes out. It seems that everytime uggla is batting he wants to hit a HR and most of times when he hits a HR its a solo shot and either we are blowing out the opponent or they are blowing us out. With Hermida in 2 spot he will cause a lot more problems for pitchers b/c he has a good eye and walks a lot that would put hanley at 2nd and jeremy at 1st w/ miggy batting. Uggla should be batting 6th behind Mike or Josh

I am looking for a those shirts they had a couple years ago. I have a Burnett shirt but now that he is gone, my fav. player is Hermida. Does anyone know where i can get one of Jeremy. I went to marlins in Miami and they dont have. I went to the marlins web site and you can make a custom shirt but they only have it in teal, I want it in Black. Has anyone even seen a Hermida shirt? maybe at the stadium? If someone can help me out thanks.

With Jeremy coming back hopefully within a week and JJ next month, if we can stay healthy and be close to atleast the wild card do u guys think we will make a deal for a CF or an OF that can play CF. I think Amezega has done all he can do, Reggie and Reed suck and i dont think De Aza is going to do much. With Toronto struggling and 9.5 games back already, B.J Ryan out for the year Halladay out 4-6 weeks. They are done. Do u guys think the marlins would go after Alex Rios? I remember there was some talk about him in the off season. Have you guys seen what B.J Upton is doing, I think we missed out there with that trade. Just thinking ahead and throwing a name out there.

Is it me or does everyone realize that everytime theres a shot at a play at the plate olivo drops the ball? Also he has a lot of pass balls that are resulting in runs scored. I think treanor needs to play more.

Tank should be the closer. All of these guys have done a great job in the pen but they are all young. I dont know how they will do when the pressure of the 9th comes around. Owens is a good pitcher but i would rather have him set up. He looked very nervous out there. Pinto is to wild sometimes. I like lindstrom ( he reminds me of Nathan) but i think Tank is the man. Tank is young too but he proved it last year that he can close games. I dont remember his era last year but i think it was in 2's. Tank also does not look fazed out there in the 9th. Tank :thumbup

After the last 2 starts from Moe i rather have him in the pen where he has been very good. and after the way nolasco pitched yesterday, came in w/ bases loaded no outs and got us out of it i want him back in the rotation and be the 5th starter, he has had a good rest and maybe thats what he needed when he was struggling. 1.Willis 2. Johnson 3. Olsen 4. Sanchez 5. Nolasco :thumbup
