Actually, it showed her tit so no Man Card for you. If she had shown her tit (no "s" at the end?), it would have brought in a lot more money. Not to mention, we'd already know a year in advance. Man card, please.

Terrible but the actress is a 10/10 knockout Agreed, her pearly whites need a makeover though.

I haven't seen it yet but I'm guessing it probably involves » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Meg?

Nice start to the show, continuing from the movie. I don't want to check right now but what did you think of the movie? I'm TiVo'ing it. I must admit I more excited to see Family Guy tonight.

    This is tonight.
  6. Great filmmaker. I'm glad he decided to do this.
  7. Comic or not, I'm led to believe that this is Cronenberg's own personal style. I'd have to watch/re-watch some of his old movies like The Fly, The Dead Zone, and Scanners to confirm my thoughts.
  8. I saw it on a free movie pass from work. Really liked it. I think Viggo Mortensen did a great job. As far as the knife fight scene goes, i did think it was a lil bit funny. Why didn't those random guys just get the hell out of the steam room. I was laughing too. I'm not sure what that really means though. :lol I don't think I've ever experienced laughing and trying to look away from the screen at the same time ever before in a movie. Borat probably comes the closest to my weird description. More people need to see this movie!!!
  9. Probably the best knife fight I've ever seen in a movie. It was so hard to watch. I think everyone in the theatre had the same reaction I did. This scene will probably be the one that everyone remembers days, weeks, months from now. The deaths however, are quite cartoonish. I noticed this in another Cronenberg film, A History of Violence. Nothing wrong with them, just thought I'd point it out. It has a lot of similarities with The Godfather. Specifically the brother dynamic of Michael and Fredo Corleone. Armin Mueller-Stahl does a great job as the head of the Russian crime family. Might see a nomination coming his way. Viggo Mortensen also gives us a great performance as Nikolai the driver. There is a lot to recommend for this movie but keep in mind that there is no 'hero' in this movie. You're really not suppose to like anyone. Naomi Watts is not pegged as heroine even though the role (in most movies) calls for it. This could be looked as a triumph or a fault. I tend to think it's the former. I'm not going to ruin the ending, but one the last shots is very reminiscent to the last shot in Godfather Part II. It's a very good mob film and we haven't had one of those in a while. 8.5/10 Edit: I just read Ebert's review of it and in it he says sets the same kind of standard that The French Connection set for chases. Years from now, it will be referred to as a benchmark. I wholeheartedly agree.
  10. Life looks really good and Damian Lewis is awesome. Also, even though I want Nestor Carbonell back on Lost like nobody's business, Cane looks awesome. I'm going to also watch Dirty, Sexy, Money simply for Peter Krause. ... I am looking forward to seeing Reaper. Pushing Daisies has gotten great reviews and I'll at least look at one episode. I thought K-Ville was pretty good.
  11. 21, you made a double post/thread. This thread might be a fraud. It could be post #3,001 :o

If you're looking for the best prices, wait until the holiday season rolls around. You'd probably see 32'' screens at about $400-$500. It might even go lower than that.

I use a Mac and every other day generally I can't get on. I use a Mac and I can get on fine. Were you using FireFox?
  16. I think these pictures are sort of appropriate for this thread.
  17. I've never seen the Phillies in the playoffs in my lifetime. I don't think I can stomach it. I'd rather see the Mets crash and burn in the playoffs. It's going to be an exciting 2 weeks.
  18. When did they film this MiRi?
  19. No North by Northwest? That's my favorite Hitchcock. Playing on TCM in about a week or so without the annoying popups and no commerical interruptions. :mischief I recommend Shadow of a Doubt (Hitchcock's favorite), Dial M for Murder, and the obligatories (Vertigo, Rear Window, North by Northwest, Psycho). From the ones they aren't playing: Strangers on a Train Rebecca Notorious Haven't seen Rope yet. Talk about a nice library of films. I don't think there will ever be anyone else like him.
  20. Happy Birthdays :dancehead
  21. Potentially at least 24 years of the Bush or Clinton family running this country. Shoot me now. Almost a quater of a century. I just don't get it.
  22. The Penny trade wasn't bad at the time. Penny became a premier pitcher after the trade. Lo Duca gave us a solid couple years.
  23. So he didn't finish the last book? Darn shame.
  24. Happy Birthday MiRi!
