Expos Ranchod

Pitching not as good as last year. Hitting better but still not great. In a slump right now which happens to all teams.

and my fantasy team keeps taking a beating: Prior Leiter Glaus Wood and now maybe Bonds all on the DL.

MLB: Expos NHL: Canadiens :mischief NBA: don't care NFL: Not a huge fan..but I like the Pats.

:banghead :banghead :banghead :plain I knew I should have dealt him when he was healthy a couple of weeks ago(I already have Lowell as my 3B and Glaus was on my bench). Ugh.

Reports are they actually want the entire Marlins franchise moved to Montreal, with Miami getting the Expos. We're talking all the players, off-field staff, minor league affiliates and other holdings. Nevermind that the minority owners couldn't even afford to operate them for more than a month or two, that's why they brought in Loria in the first place. First time I ever heard that one. The one consequence is that, I think, the Spos can't be moved out of Montreal until this is settled. That's something the former owners demanded when they first started this whole process. However, I can't see this affecting the Marlins in any way.

Wil Cordero for Rocky Biddle. You guys get the reliever you need and the Spos get some well needed RH power off the bench. *hopes no one notices Biddle's inflated era* :mischief

Sheets will not be traded. Yep, Brewers GM said it in a Gammons column last week I think. It's the last thing he'll do and it's even more obvious after today. Sox and Yanks don't even half of what it would take in terms of young talent to get Sheets.

Cabrera is amazing. You guys need to enjoy every magic moment this kid provides. He's that special. 20 years from now you guys will be saying ''we saw the kid at the very beggining of his career and saw him grow into a superstar..''

Go Beckett. My fantasy team needs all the points it can get. :mischief

the Boston game was good too Especially the end result. :notworthy :hat :mischief

Try thinking how much being 2-10 sucks. You'll appreciate your team and your record alot more. Stop whinning. You guys are still a damn good team.

Sosa ties it after being that close to a K..10-10 bot 9th and now Alou wins it on a long bomb...Chip and Dip having an on air orgasm. :whistle :plain

on the other hand..Lee has looked pretty awful. You guys robbed them in that trade.

:lol This game is crazy...Hollandsworthless just launched a 2 run bomb to make it 10-9. :lol

Mr. Rivera didn't exactly look studly yesterday either. Give him regular playing time. He'll get a ton of it in the coming weeks. :banghead

btw, Cincy just score 3 more runs againsts the Phillies. 4-0 Reds Ugh, I knew I should have benched Padilla for my fantasy team today. :banghead But F the Phils. :mischief

Frank has asked his players to do this in the past when the team was in a slump.. So that must be pretty often, eh? :shifty :banghead KJC, I totally agree. Frank is basically there just to 'stay in baseball' and get a pay check.

Werd is Jose Vidro made this lineup since Frank is clueless... Haha, Frank is indeed clueless, but Frank has asked his players to do this in the past when the team was in a slump..

I'm almost sure that the series will be broadcasted in mlb.tv, as the Mets-Expos series was. As for the crowd, the Marlins are adored in Puerto Rico with or without Pudge. But they were picking up the Mets broadcasts, if the Marlins are not broadcasting the games, it won't be on MLB TV.

Phils losing once again..4-1 to the Reds in the opening of their new park. How long until Bowa gets canned? for our sakes, hopefully never. :lol

This is gonna be ugly.. Fish sweep. :banghead BTW, the Bithorn is now a pitchers park. The turf is new and it slows everything down. The fences have been moved way back and about 75% of the fans are dressed as empty seats. :lol
