they just need to bring some more teal back to the unis

A lineup of: 1. Hanley 2. Hermida 3. Cabs 4. Bonds 5. Willingham 6. Uggla 7. CF 8. C 9. Pitcher God, that's scary. nasty 1-6 but watch if they go out and get bonds the 7 and 8 holes will be black holes and uggla will get nothing to hit in that case

lets hope they have some success out there like rick did

that logic about drinking isnt entirely true. wasn't it david wells who threw his best game of his career when he had a hangover or was drunk. some people play better when they are not sober

off topic but whats the chances of willis taking a incentive based contract he's not a free agent but you can negotiate contracts not sure about if they can be incentive based before he becomes a free agent

off topic but whats the chances of willis taking a incentive based contract

remember when everyone wanted to keep d-train in teal for his entire career? lefty workhorse hes still going to get a huge contract on the open market even if he does have an era in the high 4s

greg is up for arbitration which could make him out the door with all the saves hes racked up this season

Didn't the organization plan on keeping Nolasco in the bullpen full time? I think that was just the plan for the remainder of this season, which is a moot point now anyway. FWIW, Girardi has said many times that he and others (Kranitz perhaps?) thought Nolasco's future was as a closer because of his plus breaking ball. I'm to lazy to look up the splits at the moment but if i remember correctly he had better stats out of the bullpen in his rookie season. Yet the sample size is incredibly small

Didn't the organization plan on keeping Nolasco in the bullpen full time?

let reggie play in the playoffs out west if they make it not sure the standings and stuff because im sure its not like hes going to do much help up in the majors

i like that we have no center fielder. Damn, even at the hypothetical best, we still can't get a center fielder. mark kotsay?

well thanks ramp. i still think its a waste to have non-prospect guys lighting up the higher levels of the minors and not get a chance even when theres no struggling star or producing healthy option in the majors

just wondering when chad hermansen or john baker will join the majors. they both have been dominating in AAA which doesnt say that much but it its not like the merry-go-round outfield and olivo/treanor have been showing they really want their jobs. it seems like the only reason that they have not been called up yet is because they arent on the 40-man roster

What's wrong with this pic? Treanor is not on the ballot

5 yrs from now Olivo wil not be our starting catching, 3 years from now he may not be either, right now he is by far the best catcherin our organization. I am not sure about Hayes prospects, we will have to see more from him in the near future Langley may be our next starting catcher down the road Just for fun, 2010 lineup... C-Torre Langley 1B-Josh Willingham 2B-Dan Uggla or Chris Coghlan 3B-Miguel Cabrera SS-Hanley Ramirez LF-Kris Harvey CF-John Raynor RF-Jeremy Hermida JJ, Scotty O, Volstad, Sinkbeil, Vanden Hurk/Winters Where is Gabby? im guessing your talking about gabby sanchez not hernadez and i expect him at 1st base because willingham will be making money and will be over the age of 30 most likely on the decline so i would expect him, jacobs and uggla to be gone by 2010-2011 if hanley, some of the rotation and cabrera are still on the roster.

They call me Mr. Glass at school. Cause I break like glass.

the only thing wrong with his statement is how much were those tickets in milwaukee and how much were similar seats here? i think that is just bad arguement to use.

id like to see chad hermanson if anyone from the minors right now but he would have to be added to the 40-man roster first. as for julio playing center, he could probably do just as much damage to the team there as he does on the mound

anyone know why ungs is relieving this year? he's only had 1 other year where he had more than 2 relief appearences (2002). probably just the odd man out in AAA but i would like to know if there is another reason.

mcwkm, where in Ct are you I'm sure we've had this convo before im right near danbury

they delayed the game so i could watch the whole thing. how thoughtful of them now that ive showered its time for the rain to stop

so glad hes on my fantasy team. now if only my hitters actually put up some numbers

And those new bright neon orange and white costumes the Mermaids have now are hideous. dont worry eventually their costumes will be to small to tell

when you put it on full screen you can really tell the difference it does lock up a lot right now but last year there were the same problems when the season started
