That section was bought out by a group i believe, so was the one next to it. I know a teammate or mine had rented out section 36.

New Stadium Pics
Friday night was my first Marlins game since 2009 (don't yell - I live in England) and hence my first in the new (incredibly impressive) ballpark. I found getting there awful. No signage whatsoever. We were based in Lauderdale and bombed down the I-95 on Wednesday to visit the merchandise store. We could see the stadium but could not work out how to get there. I think we only made it by luck. The game wasn't much better - we left two hours before first pitch, took a different route and arrived with twenty-minutes to go. For the out-of-towner, and even a dumb English fan, a little more signage would be appreciated! It was my fifth game, my son's third and his first victory! On behalf of the New York Gothams, congrats for joining the civilized world even for this brief vacation and glad you enjoyed the park. Hope all is well.

This team is...
I think he's fine in LF, he need experience out there. He hasn't had enough. LF is like taking a poop, once you know how to do it you can do it for life. Tell that to Adam Dunn. Adam Dunn isn't physically fit to play LF anymore, he's like that cop who kept getting bigger and bigger and now can't jump a fence to chase a perp. Dunn's fine at 1B and DH at this stage of his career. I'm sure when he plays LF in interleague he'll be average, or slightly below.... which isn't where LOMO is right now. He's horrible at 1B too. If the guy can't hit, he's a useless player to have on your team. And he's been that way for the entirety of his career. I refuse to be drawn into one of the frequent pissing matches you and others prefer to incite.

Homeruns in Marlins Park
Bonifacio would be fine in LF. It's the lack of CF that's an issue, and the fact that Logan Morrison is a god awful fielder. We have a CF, and a damn good one who can be an all time legend in the same regard of hitting as Andruw Jones, Duke Snider and Andre Dawson. If only they let stanton play CF and put Emilo in right, we'd never have the chance of having two players in foreign positions in the same play.

Seating
Hi, I am currently in college but with summer approaching I plan on going to multiple games in the near future. I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations on what sections are the best bang for the buck. Like I said I wouldn't want to spend too much because I am a college student and driving 4 hours to see a game already, but I am also a diehard fan so I would like to have decent seats as well. Get a upper deck behind 1B seat, and just walk around the park the whole game. You wont miss anything that way, and you don't have to feel bad about spending money in a seat and not sitting in it.

Tickets for sale
The wife put all our tickets that we know we won't use on StubHub @ box office prices and hasen't sold any. Talked to others at the park and they are saying the same thing. I've given away a bunch of games to friends and clients so at least those won't go to waste. This home stand we don't have any wasted tickets. Looking around the place Saturday night and I don't think there were 25K there. Looked alot less. Gotta wonder where these South Dade residents are that were bragging how they were going to show those from Broward and PBC how to fill a ball park up. Ya know, "You had your chance. Now we'll show you how it's done." actually i thought the crowds looked pretty solid over the weekend. even more so on the sunday game. Yeah, theres no way we would have had even 8k at a sunday game at sunlife. If we draw 18 a game, the stadium is doing its job. If we draw 25k-30k a game, the team is doing it's job. I am a giant fan, but very seldom did I buy tickets in advance at sunlife, just because of the weather (Rain or Heat). I would simply buy the day of the game once I knew how the weather looked. Only once did I get rained on in 15 years. Others weren't that lucky. I missd about 12 rain delays or rain outs in the last 4 years that way. Now, I know the games gonna happen, and the weather won't be an issue (as far as the game, driving there is different) I already bought 5 games up front, and thats just April/May. Ive never been to a sunday game, the heat would kill anyone in a double knit jersey and black cap---and I know. I went to a 12:40 getaway day Nats game a year ago and had to leave because my wife was burnt and couldnt take the heat anymore. Perfect health, but we were dead. Imagine an older couple of say 45-60 years of age, and children under 10. Too much to watch and worry about. Same reason why I choose not to go to dolphins games.

Marlins gear out sells all other teams!
Anyone seen any visors yet with the new stuff?.. Specifically an orange one I haven't been over to a game yet, but I guess if the team store at the park doesn't have then no one will. Haven't seen any online Tons of stuff at the team store, no one really has a great inventory outside the ballpark.

Brian Wilson out for season
In the words of Grey Albright, SAGNOF! I agree with Marlins on this one, I wouldn't waste a pick or trade for a top of the line closer when there are plenty you can get in mid to late rounds that will do perfectly fine. Also consider the fact that closers often get hurt and/or lose their jobs more frequently than just about any other position. This season we've already seen Madson, Wilson, Bailey, Storen, Soria go down because of injury with a few others who are teetering on being replaced . Drafting decent closers and being quick on the waiver wire will leave you perfectly fine in the categories that relievers play a role in and will leave you flexible to trade some to people who do value closers too much. I picked him up to solidify my second RP slot- as we carry 30 freaking players in a 10 team league (BS in my opinion). I picked up Big Z and Wilson for Phil Hughes, a scrub OF, and Jonathan Broxton who I picked up earlier that day off the waiver wire. Not a waste of a trade, as Big Z has proven the past two starts he's got some left in the tank, but Wilson going down when last year my entire rotation, Posey, and a few other Position players were lost killed me.

This team is...
LF, he need experience out there. He hasn't had enough. Isn't that where he played pretty much all of last season? Yes, Last Season at Sunlife. No Not this season- he hardly played the field in ST and doesn't seem comfortable there now. He needs to take tons of BP reps in LF to get comfortable.

TV vs. Astros Friday 4/13 ?
Eh, I just watched on those tiny screens with 4 games playing. Got lucky and it rotated to the houston feed (no sound) during coughlans at bat. Switched over as gabys hit dropped and saw one guy start running out. I knew we won, it was GLORIOUS!

Marlins design process article in...
The other fish looks terrible with the new scheme. I'm really surprised so many people like it. Thats because your adding it to the new scheme. Look at it by itself, maybe with the italicized M on the other logo.

So how would I watch the game on xfinity with comcast with the extra innings free preview? Just go the channel? Does xfinity have it too?
