Uggla and Hanley get into clubhouse argument
Although Hanley Ramirez's play has been great, Dan Uggla is far from the only Marlin who has questioned Ramirez's desire and willingness to play through injuries. ``There are 23 guys behind Uggla,'' one Marlins person said, noting Ramirez isn't popular with teammates. Fairly or not, teammates question his toughness, partly because he skipped the 2008 season finale citing a stiff shoulder, which preserved his .301 average. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/columnists/barry-jackson/story/1219909.html Here's an awsm stat for you Amount of games Hanley has played in the past 4 years: 591 Amount of players in all of baseball that has started more: 13 Amount of current Marlin players who have started more: 0 shut the f*** up 1) Adrian Gonzalez - 613 2) Jeff Francouer - 610 3) Prince Fielder - 608 4) Miguel Cabrera - 606 5) Adam Dun - 604 5) Justin Morneau - 604 5) Ichiro Suzuki - 604 8) Michael Young - 602 9) Orlando Cabrera - 601 10) Nick Markakis - 600 11) Bobby Abreu - 596 11) Ryan Howard - 596 13) David Wright - 593 He's played in over 95% of the possible games Played in Means Pinch Hitter or Pinch Runner fool. Pull it up without game he came to bat once in. The people above him may surprise you. Dan Uggla is one of them Remember, Dweeb Boy loves to coem out of the lineup for sore shoulders. I remember a 2 week, or 3 week stretch in 2006 or 07 where he didn't play, one series was in SF.

NOT A BLACK SCREEN ANYMORE! It's a frozen beach now! Woohoo! I decided to sip a Margarita and stare at it, while holding a kite string tied to my ceiling fan. I feel like I'm at a nude beach.

Anyone know the channel for TV Guide? It used to be 35, and I found it again a few days ago, but don't remember the number. Something like 92-2 The game is being televised. The problem seems to be Comcast, right now. This happened a couple weeks ago against Philadelphia, on a Sunday in Philly. Yeah I rmember that. I;m just curious because I always was too lazy to just flip thru channels while trying to figure out the next consiracy against me in the CBL.

Anyone who thinks DVD's are obsolete obviously don't understand how that works. Blu-ray is constantly fluctuating between 9 and 10 percent market share, nowhere near the BS 50% that Sony predicted it to be at by the end of last year. The biggest reason why it's Blu-Ray hasn't taken off is because of the Porn Industry's slow progression towards it as a Viable Media. Once the Porn Industry decides to start producing Blu-Ray' productions, Blu-ray as a Viable Media will move into the 80& Market Share. It's happened with Cassettes and DVD's in terms to jump starting new media. From PC World, back in 2007 when they were still arguing over HD-DVD and BD.We all know HDDVD soon lost in 2008, but only after the Japanese Adult Industry's choice to use BD in 2007. The adoption of Blu-ray Disc by the Japanese porn industry could make all the difference in the format war. The adult film industry has long been a first mover in using new technologies, and many analysts say the industry played a key role in making VHS the winner in the video cassette fight against Sony's Betamax video tape standard years ago. Blu-ray Disc, also a Sony technology, is now vying with HD DVD to be the high-definition disc of choice in the 21st century. http://www.pcworld.com/article/135222/japanese_porn_industry_embraces_bluray_disc.html

Too Many Poll Options. Limit it to 4 Next time. I feel like I can vote for as many I like with that many options.

Matt Lindstrom
Lindstrom becoming decent is great for this team. it gives the marlins the closer they need night in and night out, depending on the situations with nunez in a closer by commitee. it's actually critical that he becomes decent. It's september, maybe he's a late bloomer like adam laroche (the ATL brother).

Uggla and Hanley get into clubhouse argument
Wow, Seriously close this thread. This is nothing more then a pissing match. Uggla is wrong forcalling out hanley (he's said that). Hanley is wrong for walking around like the hot chick in school everyone would screw, but talk sh*t about. I don't like her personally, but she can do what she wants with me all night long. Your not rooting for his personality, your rooting for his production, and .355 from a guy I don't like is fine with me.

Braman's appeal being heard today
I was going to say that I didn't understand how Braman had standing in a case like this, but then I found this under the Wikipedia entry for 'standing (legal)': In Florida, a taxpayer has standing to sue if the state government is acting unconstitutionally with respect to public funds, or if government action is causing some special injury to the taxpayer that is not shared by taxpayers in general. So I'm guessing that's the argument he's making, that it's an illegal use of tax funds. It's still stupid, since the stadium deal had to be approved by multiple governing bodies. Not only that, but what else could the stadium funds go towards. Not much else right? It's tied into the bill passed that said a certain amount has to go towards public debt for certain entertainment buildings(i believe). AKA, the opera house, AAA, and others.

Trahern has Surgery
hey nny, still think he is a prospect worth keeping and a guy with a future on the team? lol I do, it's not like he's making 5.5 Mil a year with incentives. He's at most making 300k on the MLB roster. Let him get healthy, let him progress, and re assess him later.
