September 6, 200916 yr Marlins win 9-5! W: Johnson (14-4) L: Hernandez (7-10) 2B: J Cantu 2 (35); H Ramirez (39); D Uggla (22) HR: H Ramirez (20); B Hayes (1) Great performance from the top of the order tonight.
September 6, 200916 yr Another 20/20 Season for Hanley! Not a great outing from J.J. but he gets his 14th win and Cantu and Coghlan stay hot. 4-0 in September and we need to finish the series with a sweep tomorrow.
September 6, 200916 yr Well I went and saw Gamer tonight so I missed most of the game not that I would have been able to see it any way since Comcast was messed up. Good to see us get the W and Hayes with a jack.

September 6, 200916 yr Author Too bad the Giants and Rockies also won. Philly lost though. 4 back in WC still.
September 6, 200916 yr I'm so sick of the Rockies....Just lose when we win for once!! Whenever they lose, we lose, and when we win, they win. It's a bad cycle.
September 6, 200916 yr good comeback by josh in the second but for the love of sh*t im going to flip if the rockies dont start losing.
September 6, 200916 yr Another non-quality start from our starting pitcher. :thumbdown Hopefully Anibal can make it past the second inning tomorrow.
September 6, 200916 yr I honestly don't know who to vote for. Great game by all the players today. And, my god is Brad Lidge choking. Another blow save tonight.
September 6, 200916 yr Another non-quality start from our starting pitcher. Hopefully Anibal can make it past the second inning tomorrow. 1. Josh Johnson has, consistently, given quality starts this year. 2. He was an inning away from one tonight (statistically), and he was at 82 pitches. He could've easily gone another inning...maybe 2 more, if not for the fact that it was a big lead, and they're being really cautious with JJ, right now.

His last few starts haven't been so great and he's never pitched this many innings before. He might be tiring out.
September 6, 200916 yr Another non-quality start from our starting pitcher. Hopefully Anibal can make it past the second inning tomorrow. Yeah Johnson was lucky to get past the 2nd inning and get the win the batter swung at ball 4 that would have walked in a run and he would have come out. Who knows how many inherited runners would have scored.

He's, consistently, keeping the team in games. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/gamelog?playerId=6435 Aside from the Houston game, I don't see a recent bad start.
September 6, 200916 yr Another non-quality start from our starting pitcher. Hopefully Anibal can make it past the second inning tomorrow. What did JJ do tonight? 1 earned run and only 2 hits in 5 innings. Yes he did have control problems early but he came back strong. He did what great pitchers do, on a night when he was not on his best he battled and got the W
September 6, 200916 yr I voted for Hanley 2-4 2B, BB, HR (20), 2 R, 3 RBI. He seems healthy to me. Seems a little hesitant running to me. Also moving side to side in the field.
September 6, 200916 yr I honestly don't know who to vote for. Great game by all the players today. And, my god is Brad Lidge choking. Another blow save tonight. And yet they are still 6.5 games up on us. Head to head only 6 games left to play them. But how much fun would it be to go play that game on 10/4 and have the Philly fans booing the singer of God Bless America. Again.
September 6, 200916 yr nice win...but we g2 sweep all the teams we should at this point, we g2 have an excellent month
