All-Teal Hats at Lids.com
If you looking for 6 7/8, call the Dynasty Apparel in Opa-Loca. They have a website. They have tons of them for $10 each, but its the one made in 1994, so shoot for a 7. Once you sweat, it'll shrink. The teal hats are quite nice, and the cooperstown collection is great quality. If you get one and like th esloucher look, get a size bigger. I did, soaked it, and wore it. It fits like a glove now. No high crown.

MARLINS *Unveil date - January 1st (1/1/10) *Changing road front from "FLORIDA" to "MARLINS" I think I like it. F*** Florida. It's all about the marlins. Other changes--- METS *Unveil date - November 27th (11/27) *The Mets will be replacing the current Mets home white w/ryl pinstripe jersey with a new one which will be an alternate home vest jersey in an exciting new color, the MET Black will be the primary home now. Possibly this (Option choices in fan survey in may) Update on Mets unis: I've just been told there has been a change of heart with the Mets, they are not dropping the Pinstripes (Thank God), however, they are replacing the white with a cream color. Which in my opinion is nice. Gives it an old time look more like the wools. And they are keeping the black shadows. Cant have everything. http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/mets/2009/09/nats-2-mets-1-five-to-go.html TWINS *Unveil date - November 16th (11/16) *Slightly updated wordmark on all jerseys, new patches & a new throwback RAYS *Unveil date - November 19th (11/19) *Cool new alternate jersey, new color Possibly Baby Blue Alternate Jersey with Baby Blue Crown, Navy Bill GIANTS *Unveil date - January 1st (1/1/10) *New alternate jersey, new color Possibly Orange Jersey with Black wordmark MARLINS *Unveil date - January 1st (1/1/10) *Changing road front from "FLORIDA" to "MARLINS" BREWERS *Unveil date - February 14th (2/14/10) *New alternate jersey Possibly a move towards baby blue jerseys for throwback fridays.

Survey for Marlins Fans
Don't listen to Piazza, he's a Met fan. Hell, he enjoyed SHEA, that should tell you something. Plus, he's crazy. I'm a Marlin fan first. I enjoyed shea because although it was a dump---they didn't put makeup on it and tell me it was pretty. Everytime I go to Landshark, I feel like there's lipstick on a pig. I hate that friggin place for baseball.

Loria on the new uniforms
Curious, do you guys think there is a chance he will change the team name?

Survey for Marlins Fans
How often do you attend Marlins games? About 15 to 20 Per Year How would you rate your overall experience(s) at Landshark Stadium (please consider pricing, seating, concessions, comfort, etc.)? I enjoyed going to Shea More the few time I've been there. Landshark Stadium is expensive for a college student and even a family to visit. $10 for parking, $20 for tickets, and thats already $30 to get in the door. Not to mention $7 for a plastic 12 oz of beer and the crappiest food to never come out of a Microwave and you get the feeling Wayne Huizinga was trying to undercut the Marlins every chance he got. Are you satisfied with the effort of the Marlins organization, in terms of their commitment to the fans and their commitment to winning baseball? I'm very satisfied, but sometime wish that the fans voice was worth more to them. With the upcoming change in color scheme away from teal and into possibly Orange and blue, it's becoming more and more likely we will become just another face in the crowd when it comes to personality and uniqueness. Do you feel that the new stadium will greatly enhance the overall experience? Yes, not in just a "It's not Landshark Stadium" way either. I'm a fan of architecture and art, and the steps Loria has taken to the new stadium is one that Miami can be very proud of. It's goign to look great, and can adapt every year based on his urging for interchangeable photo's and colors. The new ballpark will make it a Event to go to a game, not just a game. it can be a fun experience if you go there to look around and check it out. What would you like to see the Marlins do to improve your enjoyment as a fan of Marlins baseball? A slight improvemnt in payroll, but also a willingness to sign a primier free agent pitcher or hitter to compliment the assest they already have. A Matt Holiday type will look good in whatever color they want to drape him it. Not to mention the .300 average he'll add behind Hanley in the lineup.

The Marlins made the playoffs !
Your an asshole. We all know they are there for stuart scott

Loria on the new uniforms
Screw it, I did it in paint. I don't think the colors are bad, and it helps us stand out. Replace Florida with Miami, and the F with M as nessesary.

Loria on the new uniforms
Someone wanna mock up a Black Marlins jersey into a Blue Jersey---- And alter tha Black in our Uni's into Blue. I get the feeling we'll be going the way of the yankees, and the "F" Chest patch will be back but with an "M".

Get like me
My roster--- 1 pts for 25 yards rushing, recieving, returning----6 pts for passing, rushing, recieveing, returning td's. 1 pt for every 50 yards passing. Drew Brees QB (Number 3 overall) wanted a bad ass and behind peterson on my personal rankings. Steven Jackson RB (3rd Round) Kevin Smith RB DET (5th RD) Reggie Wayne WR (2nd Round) Terrell Owens WR(4th Round) Joshua Cribbs WR/RET(Free Agency) Darren Mcfadden FLEX (Round 6) Vicente Shincoe (Free Agency, I always like Favres TE's, and he was just dropped after goin in the 10th round) Mason Crosby K Minnesota D (7th Round, I wanted a top D and Pitt was already off the board) Reserves Rashard Mendenhall (Round 13) (Parker usually goes down, and RM can be a TD Vulture, so it's a decent risk) Darius Heyward Bey (Round 10) (High Upside evident on the double teams he took vs. San Diego, reminds me of Bowe) Beanie Wells (Round 14) (Can be a Vulture this year, if not the starter) Ahmad Bradshaw (Free Agency) (Wanted B.Jacobs backup since he always gets hurt for a few games) Brett Farve (Free Agency after he came back)(Great Matchup week 5, brees bye week) Chris Henry (Free Agency) Robert Meachum (Free Agency) Chargers DST (Always try to get them) From what you can tell, I didn't get the RB's I wanted and none I felt were worth the 3 overall pick. I am trying to piece 3 RB's out of the 6 or 7 I have, and build from there, but as long as Brees throws 3 TD's and 350 Yards, I'll be in the game each week. Way too many risks then i'd like (Smith, Owens, Shincoe, Mcfadden) but I feel I can win with them. Usually, I like to draft 4 RB's in the first 5 rounds, with a QB mixed in around round 3. I originally targeted Rivers figuring I would be drafting 7th. In the top 3 picks, my order of preference was Peterson, Brees, Manning. No RB was worth the 3 overall pick I felt, as Forte is a risk, LT is on the backslide, and D.Williams is a chance to bust. Turner will be focused on this year, as evidenced by week 1's game vs Miami. Matt Ryan doesnt scare anyone.

Uggla sad that he might get traded
My opinion, let cantu walk. Keep Uggla one more season (or til the ASG). Lineup with just what we have in our possession already 1.Coughlan 3B 2.Maybin CF 3.Hanley SS 4.Ross RF 5.Uggla 2B 6.Sanchez 1B 7.Morrison LF 8.Baker C 9.Pitcher I think Morrison can equal Cantu's production.

Already great, Hanley is getting better
Honestly, this is the last thing the Marlins need.... Another Article Bloating Han-Ram's Ego. Oh well, it's just Hanley being Hanley in the end anyway.

The Texas Rangers are Broke?
poor money management and a declinign fanbase in the seats lead to this. Look at that Arod contract, they were paying that for two years after he left i think. That millwood signign might have been a bad choice too.

Braman's appeal being heard today
*yawn* When is this old guy gonna die already? It wont go away for a while... braman's going to get a bill at the end of all this. It'll be the County's, States, and Marlins fee's for lawyers. No amount of cars will make up for that. I bet he goes to bankrupcy when everything is said and done.

Hermida May Be Non-Tendered After Season
Actually---here's what ESPN has said-- "A scout tells the Miami Herald that the Marlins have no plans to retain outfielder Jeremy Hermida, who is eligible for arbitration. The scout adds that Florida will get little for Hermida on the trade market. " No plans, which means his fate is sealed already.

Jae Seo
If the Marlins Sign Jae Seo, I'll buy his Marlins Jersey--- Then Burn it. I will also do the same with his baseball cards, and his home.

Still alive? I honestly don't know how. They are on a tear, and Uggla's Leadership may be the cause of it.

How teams can learn from the Marlins
How Teams Can Learn from the Marlins, Per ESPN's Buster Olney- How teams can learn from the Marlins Wednesday, September 9, 2009 | Feedback | Print Entry Ricky Nolasco came into the season projected to be a leader of one of the best young rotations in the majors. On May 22, Nolasco gave up eight runs over two innings, and immediately after the game he was informed he was being sent to the minor leagues. "We've got to get him fixed," manager Fredi Gonzalez said at the time. "That's why we're making the move down there -- get him a couple of starts and whatever it takes to get him straightened out." This sort of shock treatment is standard operating procedure for the Marlins, who have optioned out many slumping young players in this manner. The same thing happened to Chris Volstad on Aug. 28 after a run of terrible starts. Florida's organizational philosophy, established and carried out by Admin Beinfest, is that players should understand a place on the major league roster is based on performance, and if you don't perform, well, it doesn't really matter what your numbers are from past seasons in the majors. And once you fix what is wrong, you get recalled to the majors, as Nolasco did, a couple of weeks after being sent down. Nolasco didn't pout; he worked on the depth of his curveball and other issues, and fought his way back to the big leagues. The average age of major league players continues to fall, and the perceived value of young players is rocketing. More and more often, young players are developed with tremendous advance notice -- Stephen Strasburg might be the poster child for that -- and quickly summoned to the majors. For Buster's take on the Marlins, a big switch in Philly, a Giants debut and the AL-to-NL switch evidence, plus tons of other news and injury updates, you must be an ESPN Insider. Source

The Marlins still control their destiny
Wow, i can't wait then to play philly

Get like me
Forte is too much of a risk---LT wins, hands down. My opinion, 1200 yards, 7 tds's out of forte, hardly worth the number two overall. Maybe that's why I picked up Brees 3 overall in a 10 team league, after AP and MJD were gone. I prefer to pick in the 9th or 10th slot though.

Uggla and Hanley get into clubhouse argument
Although Hanley Ramirez's play has been great, Dan Uggla is far from the only Marlin who has questioned Ramirez's desire and willingness to play through injuries. ``There are 23 guys behind Uggla,'' one Marlins person said, noting Ramirez isn't popular with teammates. Fairly or not, teammates question his toughness, partly because he skipped the 2008 season finale citing a stiff shoulder, which preserved his .301 average. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/columnists/barry-jackson/story/1219909.html Here's an awsm stat for you Amount of games Hanley has played in the past 4 years: 591 Amount of players in all of baseball that has started more: 13 Amount of current Marlin players who have started more: 0 shut the f*** up 1) Adrian Gonzalez - 613 2) Jeff Francouer - 610 3) Prince Fielder - 608 4) Miguel Cabrera - 606 5) Adam Dun - 604 5) Justin Morneau - 604 5) Ichiro Suzuki - 604 8) Michael Young - 602 9) Orlando Cabrera - 601 10) Nick Markakis - 600 11) Bobby Abreu - 596 11) Ryan Howard - 596 13) David Wright - 593 He's played in over 95% of the possible games Played in Means Pinch Hitter or Pinch Runner fool. Pull it up without game he came to bat once in. The people above him may surprise you. Dan Uggla is one of them Remember, Dweeb Boy loves to coem out of the lineup for sore shoulders. I remember a 2 week, or 3 week stretch in 2006 or 07 where he didn't play, one series was in SF.
