I know everyone has totally forgotten Chad Johnsons douchebag teammate attitude in the past because he hasn't been a complete douche this year. The reason Johnson will traded for a 4th rounder are because: 1. He was a complete and total malcontent a**hole with the Bengals. (spats with palmer/coaches) 2. [Deleted] 3. There are concerns as to whether or not he still has the skills to get open in coverage 4. When you included Drew Bledsoe in the dolphins offseason plans, it sort of exposed you as not knowing that much about football. Jets, he said he knows more about football than you... BTW, is Lebron going to be eligble for free agency anytime soon? His rookie contract should have expired, and I bet he has no problem testing the market and experiancing another city. He is a cleveland boy, but I don't know if he wants to be one forever.

To rot in the Bayou? How many national championship games is UM playing in this year? LSU is arguably THE premier college football program. And yeah, these recruits are going to UM because of the education they'll get. Louisiana is a mess, and it'll be atleast 3 good years til it's rebuilt. Katrina did too much damage to the area from what people who live in the area have said to me. I don't blame him for backing off his claim to UM, the program is in the dumps and he has lived in South Florida the entire life. I blame him for making the statment that it was UM or bust, and I blame him for picking LSU when USC or any other better prepared area would have loved to have him. Look at it this way... If a player is flaky enough to feel like he's twisting in the wind when someone can't call, then he doesnt deserve the scholarship and education the University of Miami would provide. There are restrictions in recruiting. Once you have a commitment, it's best to leave it be for fear of sanctions by the NCAA. Losing those scholarships willbe a pain to recruiting. Leave him to rot in the "Bi-UUUU", mama did say "Miami foosball is da devil".

it means that the trade value of players isn't what it used to be. Portis was traded for champ bailey 4 years ago... Moss, randy f***ing moss, was traded for a 4th round pick... just like trent green Derek anderson is good enough to warrent a 2nd rounder or 3rd rounder to get him. Anything more then that is ludacris now a days. teams build in the draft, not with trades. Johnson for a 2nd rounder is possible too.

Chad Johnson is not a free agent, he signeda 5 year deal for 35 mill last offseason...however with his spat with palmer still in the rearview, he has asked for a trade out of cincinati and has requested Miami- He is from miami, and went to northwestern i believe. Part of wanting out is Houshmanzadeh's increased role in the offense and upcomng massive deal. Pennington and Bledsoe are both Parcells guys, however they will be a servicable stop gap until Beck is ready. Bledsoe will also be a great mentor to Beck; helping him learn to read defenses and find the open XY or Z reciever. Anderson is availabe, and considering Brady Quinn is ready they are likely to move either of them. Anderson is considered easier to obtain. Likely deals to happen, A Trade of the 1st overall pick for more draft picks including 2nd and an additional 1st. Trade of one of the Number twos for chad johnson (moss was traded for a 4th last year) Trade of second number 2 or trade of the dolphins 3rd rounder for anderson ( Green was had with a conditional 4th pick) Keyshawn signed for the minimum and mentors Hagan and Ginn. Bledsoe inactive most games but is there as a number 3 or number 2 qb to mentor beck and start his progression into coaching. Pennington being released and looked at by the phins. Losman being looked at but possibly signed only if Bledsoe or Pennington is the QB for us. Chris

Olsen Mitre Miller VandenHurk Nolasco and Sanchez the long reliever/ spot started out of the pen. I wouldn't mind a 6 man rotation to prevent overuse though. Would keep them fresh throughout the season and get them Major League starts

It can be fixed, but it depends on how soon you force shaq into a trade to a contender to finish his career, or how soon he takes a paycut admitting he isn't worth the 30 million he's signed for. His paycheck is preventing them from havign space under the cap to add impact players. Chris

Honestly- Brad Richards might be available- but we do not have any goaltending or salary cap space for a lightning dump/ trade. I head about someone in MTL, but I honestly don't know. Maybe some prospects, and Shane Doan from the Coyotes and Shawn Horcoff, Pitkanen or other players from the Oilers can be had. Chris

The Panthers in this market unfortunatly do not get the credit they deserve. I honeslty think they would only be mentioned on WQAM or The Ticket only if they get into the Eastern Finals. Cameron is an offensive genious.... unfortunatly he needs someone to do his "grocery shopping". He couldn't judge talent for sh*t, and Mueller valued his opinion as a Head Coach too much. Mueller should have had more say in the players on his roster. He let players leave that were great decoys at worst. McMichael, Zgonia should not have been let go. Ginn should have been left for dead while a franchise QB is available in Quinn. He coveted Jon Beck, his own QB, and the QB could not get a TD. He even relegated OC duties to Mularky when things went south in an effort to dodge the bullet from Huizinga at the end of the season. He couldn't coach, something I admired in Coach Satan. He took the time to correct technique- Cameron only wanted them to Fail Forward Fast, and assumed since they were Pros' they would correct themselves. Chris

Not exactly, FIU looks for Work Study Students (students who are paid by the goverment for their work, not the school). I was in that boat until I trained the person who took my job. She would earn less money then the 3 jobs i trained her for. $21 in goverment funding lost, or just $10. They now have extra revenue for their department. That's not how it works in the athletic department of FIU. Talk to them and see if you can get some work doing stats or announcing some of the games. The money isn't astounding, but it's something and the hours aren't terrible. Plus you get to be at a sporting event while you work. You can also apply to work either in the bookstore, dining services, or parking and transportation. I know that the last of the three has issues finding people to give out tickets and they pay $7 an hour. I'll definatly check out the Athletic Department. Maybe I can work my way up to calling games on the school station and beyond. That would be sweet. Same thing with the Parking and Trans- Peeing on peoples days would be a perk to a $7 wage . I love Olsens attitude and the way he plays the game. I really feel Cab's was the bad clubhouse presense. I think he came up, felt like he was the reason they won... and got a big head (much like Ray Emery of the Ottawa Senators). Olsen might have stood up for himself instead of being the cause of the problem. He plays with a lot of heart, and he is major league ready at minor league salary. Give him time to develop and he'll be Millers own Tom Glavine. Or John Smoltz. Or Millers Zito, or Hudsen, Or Mulder. Chris

Red means? I have not contacted a temp agency YET. I'd like to find a single place to work. Being a college student, if I go through a temp I might find it hard to juggle Work, school, and my obligations to FIU hockey. If it come to be FEB and I'm still unemployed, I might not have a choice til I can prove my worth to a single job. But, it's temp work. I might not find somebody willing to hire full or part time. I honestly don't get it. Worst part is, being I am Cuban-American with enough spanish comprehension to only survive, I think it is hurting me alot. I do not relate to hispanic's. I do not relate to caucasions, and the area I live in african-americans hire the token h****y (not me). I am polite, courteous, and sound like I have an education. Something that apparently turns off many in my area (cutler ridge).
