I was just watching ESPN's Telecast of the Civil Rights game and they showed on screen the current minority executives in MLB. The obvious ones were there- Minaya, Moreno, Williams, and Reagin. However, Michael Hill was on the bottom as General Manager for the Florida Marlins. I thought Admin Beinfest was the GM. Who is Hill? Chris

If your in a hotel, I'm almost positive it will have FSN FL and Sunsports. Every hotel I've been in has Espn, Espn2 FSN, and a local sports station (60% of the time its Sunsports Everytime). You should get it in your room. Chris

My honest opinion, I'd do dirty things with her, brag about it and remember it for life---- but thats because she's olsens girlfriend, she is a dancer, she is a mermaid/icegirl and she is attractive enough. Looks wise, she has too much makeup on in that pic---- idk if its just for that pic or life, she doesn't have a nice ass- the mirror is behind her, she doesn't have a OMFG body, and her face is still very blah with makeup. My opinion, and my issues- I despise makeup, I like a girl with a bit of butt, and all that said I still probably wouldn't kick her outta bed unless i was going to f*** her on the floor. What Beinfest says goes for me.... he is a god among men! O'well, he gave competition. If he wasn't enough of a team player to not accept a platoon or backup job, then he got what he wanted and the marlins got what they wanted out of him- a canidate at 3rd during spring. Chris

I don't. Beckett's current success is great, but dontrelle really hit the downslope of his career hard. If he were on a better team the last few years- he would have went the way of mark fiderich. He was given the benefit of the doubt too often. I can't wait to see the young guys develop into more becketts and penny's and burnetts. Thats what i miss. If dontrelle wasn't going to blow it past them, I would have choose Burnett's wildness and velocity over willis' ineffectiveness.

Will having a 2-2 preseason record mean you'll go .500 during the season? Ask the Dolphins. Serioulsy, the good teams rest their starters all spring and throw em in the last week of spring. They sort out the bench and role players and players to call up. The sorry teams toss in their full lineup for excitment/experiance and hope that it will someday stick and be able to have a late spring start. I don't think the 2004 marlins were ahead in the standings atl during spring. Or the 2006 Mets. Chris

I recently acquired game-used catchers gear that was used by the Jamestown Jammers. It has #31 written on the chest guard. I was wondering if anyone knew of a catcher wearing #31 for them? Something makes me think D'Antonio, but I'm not sure. I need to know, because I would like to get it signed. (Please let it be Hayes' gear). Volstad was #31 in 2005. but the Jammers wore red, white, and black then. What color is the gear? Could be equipment from a guy who was signed and used it til new stuff came in. Chris

Taguchi-cuchi-cu Jenkins Although some will argue that many of those aren't really much to lose, the fact remains I don't think any of those teams have the prospects or the system to step up and retool. Sorry, I've been meaning to say this since I saw this thread was posted and read the title. DURRRR- Ofcourse Loria is going to increase payroll. Kinda hard to keep arbitration eligible players at the ML minimum each and every year. No way he can keep trading everything to keep the payroll down. My opinion, let him do what he wants for the next year, 2. By then NY will be old, ATL won't have pitching, and PHI will flounder under Howards Demands and Utley and Rollins overbloated contracts and weak system. In 2009, 2010- thats when this team can compete. Look at the rosters the teams in our division has and tell me that there isn't 15, 16 guys who can retire tommorrow. The team I would be afraid of in the future is Washington because I fear the unknown. Not NY, PHI, or ATL. AND I'M A FRIGGIN MET/MARLINS FAN. (90 Marlins, 10 Mets-the final series last year was mixed joy). Chris

Panthers have this kind of thing at their home games. It's the eastern Financial district, and it's open bar on like 8 different types of beers and all you can eat meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, cookies, fries, mozzerella sticks and soda. Well worth it, but they only sell it as a season ticket now. 200 for 5 games, and you get another game if the panthers win. Chris
