The thing that I still don’t understand sis that the rule is pretty damn clear about a hit by pitch not applying if the ball is in the strike zone.

I like how the bats came around. Pitching giving up too many home runs thus far but overall solid. Starting pitching depth already tested - pretty frustrating to already have two injuries. Should be 2-1.

Two pretty lovely losses to start the season, 1-0 and a 9th inning implosion. Very good.

Considering what other teams get, if they aren't getting at least $70 million per season on a long term deal then they will be in trouble. Hopefully, the Marlins were smart about this. Now its time for Sinclair to be smart and bring Rich and Tommy back. That would be an immediate rating spike. I cant handle another season of Hollandsworth.

Obviously Chen coming off the books is huge. Boxberger would also be a solid option to bring back. I don’t think $50 million is that high for the tv deal. I think that ranks even lower than San Diego and Tampa. Not sold on a guy like McCann. I think Alfaro needs one more chance to put it all together. We’ve seen flashes of what he can do.
