Yesterdays fiasco took it all out of me, fully expect a sweep. Won't even watch. We can get 13 hits in this game, 15 hits tomorrow and we'll still find a way to lose. We just plain suck when it comes to taking full advantage of scoring opportunities and Mutt relievers just dominate the Fish. And throwing Chen and Nico at that hot hitting lineup, oh my. That said, surprise me.

Found a way to lose a 6-0 game and what's worse is you could see it coming. Sad to say this team isn't good enough to come back from this. Being 6 games over will end up being the high watermark of the season. We'll be leaving NY at 500.

I know this won't be a popular opinion but I still get queasy watching Ramos pitch. His command issues freak me out. I think he's been extremely lucky with many of the saves that have literally, after walking and hitting guys, been pulled out of his ass. My fear is that things will now start evening out and the blown saves will now start coming in multiples. Just wonder how long it will take and how much of a price the team will pay before Rodney is given the 9th.

When the Braves get their chance with RISP to beat us into the ground, they don't usually miss their chance. The Marlins, not so much.

Dunn, Breslow, Jackson, Urena, Narveson, Reyes, Hall and Ege. Devils of Destruction in the pen. And we've had to survive all of them. How is this possible? But having also been forced to stomach and survive the starter gauntlet of Koehler, Chen, Nicolino, Clemens and Cosart, how much more can you ask of us oh lord?

Detroit has done a really good job of exposing the soft underbelly of this team that fans of this team know all too well about. It's why the so called baseball experts don't take the team record seriously and see the Marlins falling back.

Our pitching against the Tigers has been abysmal.

ESPN continues to rank the Marlins 14th, worst ranking of all teams over 500. No movement from the prior week, no positive impression from the Cub series. They continue to be ESPN's least favorite team. That's ok, f..ck em.

Hech's bat can be tolerated with him being terrific in the field and the rest of the lineup hitting. Also makes a big difference to have your starting catcher hitting over 300 in the seven hole. Kudos to Dietrich for his play at 2nd. Bour keeping it real at 1st. Prado a gold glover at 3rd if not for Arenado. Some feel good stuff here.

Marlins have developed a track record in recent years of quickly dumping number one picks who disappoint them early.......Dominguez, Moran, Heaney. Though I wouldn't do it, I fully expect Kolek to join that list within the next 30 days. If that happens, it better not be for a half a season rental.
