I can say that for the non-Jose games, can't win playing like this.

5/18 post game
Oh come on, you're making a straw man argument. Nobody expects him to hit 400 and never strike out. I'm sure he'll be up among the MLB leaders in strike outs, an acceptable trade off for the prodigious power he provides. But I'm sorry, this is more than a garden variety slump that we're witnessing. It's completely haywire when he's chasing virtually everything out of the zine and can't put his bat on the ball.

I think Stanton right now has an inner boil going on where if he's at a two strike count where he's already swung at least at one pitch way outside or in the dirt, out of sheer anger and desperation he's going to swing at the next pitch no matter where it is. Call it frustration, a WTF attitude, he's just giving up on all semblance of even trying to maintain plate discipline. You know he's going to do it, and sure enough he goes ahead and does it. The problem is that he's been doing this with bags loaded, runners at second and third, always RISP opportunities.

5/17 - Marlins at Phillies - 7:10 PM
Hitting with RISP. We are very frustrating team to watch when the ball doesn't leave the park

Don't want to lose with TK going tomorrow.

Fredi Gonzalez was Fired
John Hart has turned the Braves into the 76ers of MLB. Hell of a job in turning that team into a dumpster fire. Hopefully the Marlins don't embarrass themselves in Atlanta like they did at home.

5/14 Post game 2
I'd be more concerned about whether we can hang in. Our pitching is far from dependable, the epidemic of BB's being issued is very alarming.

Fuckin sick of these walks, the whole staff, other than Chen and Phelps, keep digging a ditch with it. Even Jose has the bug. Got to stop this shit.

It's time to give Hech a few weeks off....
Stomach churning RISP performance is undermining what would otherwise be a terrific record. Virtually every game they've lost recently, save the Brewer blowouts, they've had the lead, missed on numerous opportunities to pad it, only to give up the lead and game and see what should have been a win turn into a loss. They'd be right there with the Nats and Muts otherwise. Frustrating to say the least, seeing this happen again and again.

Josh Naylor Stole Home
Naylor the only decent bat at Greensboro. 3 HRS, 275 BA, OPS close to 800. The team sucks, worst in the SALLY, 11-22 to date.

Morris got a hold in this game. It's a meaningless stat when this kind of performance gets a hold..

Ugly but a win. Chen deserved better than Morris again not picking him up. What Morris and Breslow have done to Chen's ERA is a real shame.

5-11 Brewers @ Marlins
How many times does this have to happen with Morris. It's like clockwork. And again Chen gets fucked. Was there any doubt those runners were going to score once Morris came in?

5/10 brewers @ marlins
Same reaction. Nice to see the regular lineup taking the field today. It's funny that Stanton is now the dude in the lineup you can say is mini-slumping. Everyone else right now seems to be raking it, even Hech is on the rise.

5-9 Screw The Brew Crew MIA 4 MIL 1 F
Chen has had 2 bad outings, opening day and against the Phils. Every other outing to my recollection has been decent but not great. He's been hurt when departing with two outs and a couple of runners on base by Breslow and Morris letting them score. Just want to see some real good clean outings from him (0, 1 or 2 runs in 6-8 innings) which I know he's capable of.
