  1. As far as the flailing It does sometimes look the way. Got to give the big guy credit for going opposite field more frequently.
  2. For all the baserunners we get, we score way too few runs. Morris and Breslow need to go. I absolutely hate to see either one of them being brought in with men on base. I can strangle Ramos with his walks, but can't dismiss that overall he's done a good job. DD and Yelich are as interesting AB's to watch as Stanton. Prado is zoned in. I never despaired of Hech when he was hitting 200. For the most part he's been making solid contact and his BA was bound to reflect that eventually. Once Jose regains command of his offspeed pitches, he's going to once again become unhittable. I like being able to look at the standings without flinching. With the inconsistency in our starting pitching I'll take 17-14. Chen needs to start stepping up.
  3. This game was lost when Donnie motioned for Breslow to come in. The two baserunners left on by Bearclaw were going to score, that's the Breslow track record and you knew probably one of his own would score too. When Breslow comes on with runners on he gives up hits in bunches.
  4. No Reinzo, please. I don't know how long it will take before Ege, Breslow and Morris are jettisoned. Until then, Donny can not be bringing any of these dudes in with men on base. So help me, they each must be batting close to a 1000 in letting inherited runners score.
  5. Garbage piling up in the pen, creating a real health hazard. Ege, Breslow and Morris need to be hauled away now. Koehler can do it and then take a jump into the dumpster himself. Ellington, Wittgren and Flores for the pen, one of the latter two temporary until Dunn comes back.

Urena is a dow jonezer. Next time he pitches, he'll show he belongs on that list.

Koehler fully deserved getting his ERA blown up today. The only thing that sucks more than Koehler the pitcher is the experience of actually watching him pitch. Alot of suck on the Marlins staff, Koehler, Ege, Breslow, Morris, Urena (even with the fluke LA save). Lets create the highest shitpile out on the mound today.

The garbage we have in the bullpen is truly frightening.

Conley and Chen ERA's have been completely fucked up by the pen.

Shitty lineup. Regulars not in it probably haven't woken up yet, so will miss the bus ride to the park. Shouldn't have taken a whole ambien. Maybe they can join the game three or four innings in.

Yah, evidence. Let's face it, there is a cloud over what Dee accomplished last year that will never be lifted. you won't know whether he did or didn't, and won't trust anything he says on the matter. I liked Dee, but my feeling on him has changed from admiration to ambiguity to hostility. I don't suffer cheaters lightly.
  12. Prado Dietrich Yelich Stanton Bour Ozuna Realmuto Hech Would not switch Yelich, he's doing great hitting 3rd and getting on in front of Stanton. Dietrich has hit second before, we don't have a leadoff hitter but Prado at least makes contact. the rest of the lineup should be left alone.
  13. Dietrich has actually been looking pretty good at 3rd so far, prefer to keep him there and move Prado to 2nd. Prado is a plug in play guy who has played 2nd well and will team up better with Hech. Like the idea of Rojas coming in for Derek for defense late innings and also spelling him with lefties. There is Chris Johnson too. Really rooting for Dietrich to turn this into a positive. Have always liked his bat, and go get em demeanor. He's never turned sour with his heretofore role. This is his big chance and I hope he grabs it.
  14. Really liked Dee, so let down by this. Don't want to hear any excuses for him, just a plain cheater. Prado to 2nd, Dietrich to 3rd. Rojas to replace DD in late innings. Don't think this will kill us, but who knows.
  15. Nico gave us our best pitched game of the season, who would have thunk it. Loved his pace and how he pounded the zone, getting ahead on counts, curve and change-up looked great. It was a joy to watch. Urena was shock and awe. Maybe he found his niche.

Disagree. He was throwing free and easy, didn't look like there was any strain at all. He probably could have gotten two more outs.

This one is on Mattingly. Just hate that Nicolino was pulled for fuckin Morris, asking for this shit to happen. No reason pitchers have to be babied like this.
  18. I see a team that continues to be thoroughly dominated by front line starting pitching. Met games will get ugly.
  19. Crossing my fingers they'll get something done before spring training ends, they can't be going into the season with this starting staff. Still holding out some hope they'll make a play for Shields at some point.
  20. At the MLB minimum, Wandy Rodriguez would be a worthwhile pickup. See that as a better move than committing 2/22 to Fister.
  21. 5/80, Leake deal done the Marlins way, again the remaining crappy TV deal yrs factored in, and getting a decent lefty at that, better than Leake. Can't complain.
  22. Mike Hill should have to answer for Twine and Hutton.
  23. Nobody is worth what they are signing for, which is why sources believe the Marlins will get the Harang deal done. The two camps are reported to be separated by less than 100K and Harang will be getting his requested multiyear deal. Or he may very well just retire, in which case Loria will pocket the 800K or so saved..
  24. Harang 2yrs/700K Marlins closing in. MLB Rumors 12/21/2015
