City of Miami doesnt deserve even a minor league team , the fans there are fair weather and god forbid they would have to drive 20 minutes if that to see a game and support our marlins . I live in Port St. Lucie and went to 26 games last season not including the playoffs . i have sat in most every section in that park last year and have yet to meet more than 5 people from Miami , So dont sit here and tell me or anyone from palm beach that there is no fan support up here , Miami fans make me sick .

This plan stinks , Miami doesnt deserve this team , I have said this before and ill say it again . The Marlins deserve a Stadium all by it self . Come on people no other team has brought 2 world titles to its fans in 11 years of exsistance . If Miami were willing to build a Bayfront park like it was supposed to , i would be happy , but they have renigged so many times it makes me sick . Those Miami Polititians only tell you want you want to hear , and when it comes down to it their word is as good as chewed bubble gum . Marlins need to move out of Miami into the arms of Their real family , Broward or Palm Beach.

Guys do you realize the payroll differences between these 2 teams is absolutely Night and Day . It makes me laugh when Yankees fans brag about a Team whos payroll rivals the payroll of three major league teams . To me there is nothing to be proud of there. Its like routing for an all-star team . :thumbdown

The only way we will get 25k plus every marlins game is if it goes downtown and the Tri-Rail runs right next to it . I think fans are primarily lost because of logistics. I live in Port St. Lucie and have gone to 26+ home games and would go to double that if the Tri-Rail ran to the stadium .

Even though we lost on wednesday night against the Cubs i was still happy with one thing . they took out Sea Bass and put in cabs at SS that was what i have been waiting for, for the last 2 months . I argued with fish filets statement saying that Sea Bass wasnt in a slump but is playing at his level . Fish Filet was totally right in that statement i just didnt want to believe it . Now i see it and now i hope they act on it . You can only give a guy so many chances to produce at the plate till you sit him down . with Cabs , Lowell and Conine all at once it makes for one of the Deepest and most clutch line-up i have seen in Post season playoffs. Trader Jack please put Gonz to rest and lets score some big runs with our Clutch hitters.

It didnt matter who was playing the Giants yesterday they would have lost with the way Schmidt was pitching. Marlins did a great job getting the bat on the ball , they just couldnt get men on base because of schmidts pitching and lack of walks . Like i have said in other posts, We will win todays game .

oh and wildcard , thank god your not the coach .

I predicted the first game a loss just because Schmidt was Pitching . It wouldnt of mattered who was playing against the Giants yesterday they would have lost to the likes of Schmidt . Giants weekness is in their Bull-pen we couldnt get to their bull pen so we didnt score runs . We will win todays game no Doubt .

My prediction game 1 loss game 2 win game 3 win game 4 win Marlins will win 3 straight after the first loss .

If and when this park is built , the key to its success will be its proximity to the tri-rail . I live 120 miles away and have been to 20+ games . If the tri rail goes to the park i would go to at least 50 home games. Tri-Rail Proximity would bring alot more Out of county fans to the games , Those are the majority of the fans anyways . Sorry to say that about Dade county fans but Facts are Facts , the majority of the fans that go to the games are from Broward and Palm Beach counties .

I went to 22 games this year , i would have gone alot more but i live 120 miles away , my 7 year old went to at least 25 his uncle took him when i couldnt make it . Marlins record when my kid went to the game is 23-2 , Marlins record when i went to the game is 22-0. we are the Marlins secret weapons. AKA good luck charms . We will be there fridays game , Stop by and say hello i will be the only one in the stadium wearing the RED Marlins Jersery , its my good luck jersey . Speaking of trying too hard ! has anyone noticed A Gonz at the plate lately. He looks like a ball of nerves .

Well said Cyggy , I was banging my head on the wall wondering why he put him back on the mound . If Tajera would have started that inning from the begining it would have been a shut out or close to it.

We definately need to clinch now , But i dont know if you all realize how important it is to get Looper back on track . Last nights pitching fiasco just proves to everyone how important the bullpen is . We need to get Lowell back on the field where he can get his swing back , which im sure he hasnt lost much of it . If Lowell is healthy Marlins have alot of decisions to make with starting positions. Cabs is hot and so is Conine , hell what am i talking about , the whole team is hot except maybe for Gonzo but his D is impecable . Tonights game and this last series with the Mets will be very interesting to see. We will be seeing alot of Important Coaching Decisions being made .
