Everyone with high socks tonight

Featured Replies

The whole team has broke out the high socks.

Hopefully this turns things around and works out better than it did last year.

:mischief

Samson: I don't care what they wear as long as they win. They could play naked for all I care, as long as they won.

Roxy: I prefer them dressed, though.

Samson: That's not what I've heard.

:lol :lol :lol

I think this is the way players should ALWAYS wear their socks... This is the way I wear it when I play... It looks bad ass..

Totally agree...they all looked great with those high socks! :)

Was AA wearing high socks tonight? People in the game thread were commenting on his uh...size, and a big gut combined with high socks just sounds hilarious to me.

Perhaps an explanation?

With the trade deadline approaching, a couple of high-profile Florida players have frequently been the subject of constant trade talks. Most notably is pitcher A.J. Burnett. In an interesting sign of team unity, the entire Marlins team wore their pants legs high, while pulling up their black sox.

That was the pregame idea of Lo Duca. Burnett happens to wear his sox up high.

I love it when they wear their socks high. I think it looks really neat.

I think it was probably Cabrera, he has been doing it all year, and he has been ON FIRE, so I guess the rest of the Marlins figured they should do the same, to change there luck....
