October 14, 200521 yr Good job dude. I am currently readying my transfer application for Cal-State Northridge and Cal-State Fullerton, hopefully they get back to me as quick as they did for you.
October 14, 200521 yr Author BTW, I got into the school of enigeering with Mechanical Enigeering as my intended field of study. I really didn't apply to many out of state schools, so I just have to sit back and wait for UF to give me an answer.
October 14, 200521 yr It can't be that good of a school. They hired Dave Wannstedt for Christ's sakes.
October 14, 200521 yr Congrats Chewie! I hope to be in the same position you are in the next couple months
October 14, 200521 yr Congrats! As one of my wise professors once told me, success in Engineering School is 5% smarts and 95% effort. I'm sure you'll do well. Best of Luck.

October 14, 200521 yr If you are really interested in science, check out this school: http://cnse.albany.edu/ It is the only school in the country with a combined major in business and nanotechnology. Talk about setting yourself up for huge $$!
October 14, 200521 yr suny albany is not good times Pitt is very aggressive in getting students ... they start accepting kids their junior year if they like them I went to a school that had a ton of engineering students, aside from them being odd, they seemed to enjoy it .... our school was setup to thin the herd freshman year, but once they survived that it was a lot better
October 14, 200521 yr i remember the days of college accecptance days. those were fun times, i think i burned or lost all my acceptance letter. however i would like to find my denial letter from notre dame for their graduate program.
October 14, 200521 yr Congrats dood! Pitt is a great school. My Grandpa is a proud Pitt Panther. And Pitt is a really nice city, go for it.

October 14, 200521 yr I am sure that if you really begged your parents you could go there. See what you can do about financial help. Its worth it just for the fact its not a state school and thus, smaller. And besides, Pittsburgh is a lot better than Gainesville.
