November 2, 200521 yr According to the Mayans the end of the world will be December23, 2012. The Mayans were very good astronomers. They studied the phases of the moon and studies have shown that their measurements were only 33 seconds off. That's pretty accurate. Scary stuff...huh. I imagine the end of the world with 3 catagory 5 hurricanes fusing together and creating a super sayan hurrican...if you will, and it will decimate the U.S.A. Probably a little dramatic but hey :shifty

November 2, 200521 yr I was in a class in the summer after 10th grade (long story why) but it was about science fiction stuff and at the end of the class we all wrote a sci-fi short story and our group used that Mayan prediction as the basis for ours. I think we might have had the date as the 21st, not the 23rd, though. Oh well.

"End of the world" nuts are always going to find new ways to reinterpret old apocalyptic texts to fit the current calendar. It's the nature of the beast that some people are paranoid about this. But, look at it this way, if it's going to end, there's nothing you can do about it and ZERO scientific evidence to support that it will. So, GO BACK TO BED WORLD.

Nothing to worry about anyway...it's not just going to happen overnight, we would see it coming ahead of time. Probably won't happen for thousands of years. I believe it's happened 2-3 already. If Jupiter wasn't in the Solar System it would be a lot more frequent.
