The Wild Card Weekend Thread

The Skins are lucky Simms isn't hitting his mid to deep middle passes, because the Bucs are really taking advantage of Taylor not being there to pop receivers.

Definitely not a catch. Don't waste your timeout.

They'll lose the challenge for sure. The call's a no-brainer. They had plenty of time to realize that, so this is a bad decision.

Clinton Portis time.

Tampa Bay, thanks for playing. Enjoy your consolation prize of a year's supply of Turtle Wax.

Woo a victory for Miami North.

good my boy Brunell advances, now the Jags need to beat New England and it'll be a good football day for me.

It'll be a good day period if the Jags dispose of the national nightmare known as the Patsies.

If Sean Taylor really did spit in Pittman's face, I wonder if the NFL will have the stones to suspend him for next weekend's game at Seattle

Well if he spit in his face, ok but still cant ignore the smack from Pittman.

if someone spits in your face thats an automatic reaction.

What a terrible interception, who the hell was he throwing it to? It didn't look like it got tipped.

It was tipped at the line, the line's fifth of the game.

I really had feeling that we'd win because of turnovers, and we did. That game was entirely too scary.

As far as Sean Taylor, it did look like his head popped up to spit, although it's impossible to tell on TV. I was furious at the call initially but after we heard that it was because of spitting, I have to trust the referee here. It's too bad Sean screwed up like that and I certainly hope he plays next week - we cannot beat Seattle without him.

Congratulations on a great year, Tampa Bay. You kids are going to rock the NFC South in the next few seasons for sure.

Took Jacksonville a while to wake up. Their defense is playing awesome, but they've got to put some points on the board. Had a nice drive going until they got greedy on 3rd & 4. Oh well, field goal makes it 7-3 at the half. I'll take that.

I would have rather gotten beat by 30 then lose like that. Least ammount of yards gained by a team that won, ever. Insane.

Hopefully we draft some linemen (both sides of the ball) and add a few pieces here and there....then I think we can legitimately compete at this level.

Great game by Chris Simms today, he was the reason the offense even had a chance to come back in this one. As much as this kid progressed from the 49ers game till his first playoff start is awesome. He is going to be a stud.

Go Bears.

argh, the Jags go from forcing a punt to letting Ben Watson go 50 miles because they can't tackle. Doesn't anyone go for the legs??

:bangdesk

that's pretty much game over. Maybe the Jags can find an offense next season.
