Das Texan
Its time. Send him down. Now we are seeing in living color why he has never played above AA at his age.
Guest Festa
I agree, he is terrible. Aguila seems like the guy who should play centerfield.
Hugg
He is like Adam Dunn without the walks or power.
CYmarlins
LOL ^ yea hes just blowing it right now, way to aggresive and even thats not paying off. send him down and see if aguila can do better in his role

Heywood Jablowme
aguila or reed, or trade for someone, sign a vet... something Sign a vet ? :lol If you haven't noticed Our Glorious Owner says he's spending as much as he will all year, so forget adding a veteran bat (and his $$$$ salary). MarlinFan10
Yeah, Aguilia has to be the new starter. The only problem left in the lineup is Olivo sucking. I'm hoping there can be a way to get Helms in the lineup, but if he can't play corner outfield, then I guess Treanor is still better than Olivo at the plate. Hugg
Helms is playing LF right now.
CYmarlins
I was just about to mention that, with Wes Helms playing LF right we can get him in there once in awhile and keep that veteran bat in the lineup we already know he can hit off the bench

Hollyberry
I agree. He is just not ready for the Majors. Not sure if he will ever be .
Hotcorner
yep, not ready for prime time. I don't think Reed is ready either, FWIW. Aguila to center field, no question. He raked the ball today, even his outs were smashed. Front office definitely should look at acquiring a leadoff center fielder at some point. Lefty
:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol "Send him down, let's bring in someone that will contribute" Take a look around, we just had a f***ing firesale. All the good players are gone. Now you wonder why the FO wanted to bring in Gathright.
TheDon
Its time. Send him down. Now we are seeing in living color why he has never played above AA at his age. Your so right. He is the classic "Spring Training Star". His Sea Bass like plate discipline is painful to watch.
Lefty
There is no cure to what's going on. We have to live with it. If we had alternatives, we wouldn't be picked to finish last in the league by every major analyst, newspaper and sporting magazine in the nation. Mephisto
We should call up Cepicky(sp) in his place. Hopefully they give Eagle the CF job and use Reed like Aguila was used by Jack.
Shamrock
Can't say I didn't see this coming even though I was pulling for them both. I doubt either has a future as a major leaguer...maybe Reed as a PR/5th OFer.
Lefty
We should trade Petit for GAthright.

I doubt either has a future as a major leaguer...maybe Reed as a PR/5th OFer. Don't feel bad for being right. These guys can't play at all. The Marlins literally have the worst 3 OF on any MLB roster in the entire majors leagues. Oakland's triple AA OF Bobby Kielty, Charles Thomas, Doug Clark All three beat our trifecta. It's pathetic.
