June 21, 200620 yr 9 straight baby & climbing up that NL East. Don't get too comfy up there Philly. :shifty
June 21, 200620 yr Coming into Spring Training, I'd never thought we'd see anything higher than 4th place in the division this year Very nice to see, lets keep it up!
June 21, 200620 yr Don't forget we have as many as five games (Nationals) in hand and two, three four on everyone ahead of us in the wildcard. This is big night for the Fish as alot of the AL won their games.
June 21, 200620 yr I love this bit from Rotoworld... Daniel Cabrera gave up six runs in 5 2/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Marlins. Cabrera can't be blamed for this one. It's likely that the only pitchers capable of beating the juggernaut Marlins offense are already pitching for Florida. Cabrera had given up two homers in 11 starts this season before serving up three tonight. He struck out nine, but that's only because the Marlins didn't want to run up the score. Jun. 20 - 10:10 pm et :thumbup

June 21, 200620 yr Author just to have my team's offensive production being described as 'a juggernaut'. Wow!!!
June 21, 200620 yr I want to know if this offense is this good or are the pitchers having off days? Hermida said Hally was on Sunday. Look what we did to him.
June 21, 200620 yr I think its awesome that we are playing great, but I dont think we should get ahead of ourselves.
June 21, 200620 yr Author Honestly Holly, I think a lot of this also has to do with Amezaga, and Ross. What can you say about those pickups? They have totally picked up the slack. I feel like they have been the x-factor in all this.
June 21, 200620 yr I think the offense has been great, I wouldn't say juggernaut caliber. I think what we should be crediting is our outstanding pitching. The pitchers are keeping us in the game and keeping those kids at the plate comfortable and confident, and that is everything.

June 21, 200620 yr We have a long way to go to be a juggernaut but every win gets easier than the previous one when you're winning like this. It also starts to put pressure on ownership and the FO to actually begin thinking about what happens if they can get to .500 and legitimately can contend in the wildcard. Clearly the FO has a couple of pitching and three position player roster spots to work with - Fulchino, Herges, Abercrombie, Aguila and Borchard - which is not to say all will be replaced, but it does give them some flexibility.
June 21, 200620 yr Braves at the bottom of the division. Perhaps there is a God after all. \ Phillies better not get comfortable.

June 21, 200620 yr I think the offense has been great, I wouldn't say juggernaut caliber. I believe Juggernaut is eligible to come back on Thursday. Be afraid, be very afraid.
June 21, 200620 yr Has this team ever been 20 games under .500? They were 11-31 before the Cubs series, so yes.
