How far are you from the proposed Marlins Ballpark in Hialeah?

Featured Replies

24.8 mi (about 30 mins)

I put in my exact address and the time estimates for Dolphin Stadium are correct for a weekend game without traffic. It's the traffic that makes all the difference.

To Dolphin stadium from home: 24.5 mi (about 35 mins)

To Dolphin stadium from work: 18.8 mi (about 26 mins)

To new ballpark from home: 22.6 mi (about 31 mins)

To new ballpark from work: 18.1 mi (about 25 mins)

If this is right I'm certainly not complaining since it's about the same. Not that I would complain anyway as long as we have a ballpark.

From home: 6500 miles (12+ hours flight). :confused

From secondary home and us office: 20 miles.

Hialeah: 8.9 (11 minutes)

Dolphin: 11.1 (18 minutes)

From my dorm at FIU

Hialeah: 24.4 (33 minutes)

Dolphin: 14.3 miles (20 minutes)

New Pond is 60.7 miles (1hr 11min)

Joe Robbie is 50.3 miles (1hr 2min)

Little shy on the actual mileage to Joe Robbie but probably because I didn't use actual address. Times have got to be under the very best driving times and conditions, like a sunny Sunday late morning. But the difference is tolerable. Worth keeping our season tix to see what the actual times and distances are. Times could be a reason to scale back from full season package to a week end package.

59 miles, about 1 hour away.

Lake Worth? Did it bring you down US27?

Doubt it. Probably had him getting on turnpike at Lake Worth Road which is the way we take from Greenacres.

DS: 17.4 mi (about 22 mins)

Hialeah: 22.0 mi (about 26 mins)

if you live out in West Broward....how can the hialeah site be farther than DS...did that bring you down 75 from West Broward...im just curious

As for me to the new ballpark

From my new home in Kendall it is 28.8 miles (about 35 minutes)

From my parents home in Miami Lakes/Hialeah it is 3.3 miles (about 5 minutes)

From work in Downtown Miami it is 23.2 miles (about 33 minutes)

To the old shindigs

From my new home in Kendall it is 30.5 miles (about 37 minutes)

From my parents home in Miami Lakes/Hialeah it is 8.3 miles (about 17 minutes)

From work in Downtown Miami it is 14.4 miles (about 20 minutes)

it is a 6 hr drive for me either way but with a dome at least i am guaranteed a game i was sitting on pins and needles all weekend given the weather for friday , saturday , and sunday , as it turns out all the rain friday and saturday made dolphin stadium feel comfortable for a change , sunday was the usual 3rd degree sunburn , dehydration , and clothes soaked from 7th and-8th inning shower
