Nice Job Tonight Joe

How many times is Joe Girardi going to lose close games for this team with his laissez-faire attitude when it comes to pitching changes? How many times have we seen games like tonight, when it was obvious the pitcher was laboring, but Girardi won't pull him until he's given up a ton of runs. Look back on Jack, and when a pitcher was in trouble in close games, you walk a guy, get behind the next, you were out of there. This team is fighting for it's life right now, and the manager needs to manage like it.

how was it Giradi fault? i can understand last night but this was not his fault at all. the bullpen is just struggling really bad and it feels like our starters are going to have to throw 8 or 9 innings every single game now.

take the day off tomorrow and rest up and clear things out. there is more games to play and were still in this, as much as this loss switched alot of things up wit all the other teams winning we gotta keep pushing.

this 8th and 9th inning crap they need to get over with already, its like they feel worried when these innings start coming up in a 1 run game.

maybe for not bunting Hanley home in a 1-run game with no outs?

Yeah, squeeze with the no outs and the heart of the order :plain

They should have got Hanley in, and we should have won, but not with a squeeze.

better to be safe than sorry.

and even if we "wasted" Uggla (making it a 2-run game), Cabs and Hammer still woulda batted.
